@a b y s s. sliske is open, if you want a chat, though i can't promise he'll be in a good mood. :p basically, the guild master and a member are fighting each other, as it's a tradition whenever he comes back from a mission. he challenges akira to a fight. and loses. every time. illdian found a bleeding, injured girl wandering the city and so he took preston to robin, who has some knowledge regarding healing-related things. robin is now tending to preston in the guild hall. a few other members are discussing undertaking a group quest, but i think that should cover it. c: //

Bruce offered a hand to help Adara up. "Uh I wasn't really planning on doing anything." Bruce said "oh! We could do a job if there's that you like." Ace and Orange heard "job" and started wagging their tails in excitement.

Most of Roslyn's day had been wasted away staring idly at the quest board. The plan was to meet up with Cyrus and pick a job together, but it appeared Cyrus either decided to go in alone or he was still sleeping. A sigh of contempt escaped from her lips as the water mage turned away from all possible jobs, all the possible jewels she could earn. Azure eyes flickered around the guild hall before her gaze finally landed on a dark figure. Her expression of annoyance melted into concern as Roslyn recognized Sliske who obviously wasn't feeling okay. Before Roslyn's mind could catch up, her feet were already carrying her over to her sullen guildmate. "Um, hey Sliske," she greeted in a soft tone as she approached him from behind. "I was wondering if maybe you felt like... doing something. Go on a job, take a walk, or maybe just sit here and talk?" Hands clasped together behind her back, she rocked back and forth on her heels, a warm smile stretched across her face. Whatever was on his mind and making him feel this way, Roslyn wanted to distract him from it.

robin offered up a grin in the direction of preston, glad to see that the girl still had some spunk. as he had finished examining her for now, the wizard leaned back. "does it hurt anywhere else?" he asked the young girl, his violet eyes resting on her face in the chance that she felt like lying to him. while he was curious as how the woman had come to attain such wounds. however, he figured he won't pry at this moment in time. not yet.

sliske's violet eyes darted up as a voice called out his name. recognizing roslyn, the male said nothing in response for a few moments. his frown from before was still situated on his face, and the sour mood that enveloped him seemed as if it wouldn't go away anytime soon. "what?" he asked her, his words sharp and snippy. he clearly didn't want to be bothered. but when the girl went on anyways, in such a tiresome manner, sliske sat back and listened. not like she gave him any other choice. when roslyn finished explaining what was on her mind, his purple orbs lit up for a second, anger fueling their glow. "no. i DON'T want to talk about it." the blonde hissed, before crossing his arms over his chest. "and i don't want to go on a job with you either, so lay off."

"sounds good enough." salem had replied immediately after blaize had put in his comment about the job, before her eyes darted away in distance and for a moment she seems unfazed by everything in the world until her dark gaze returned to her friends. at the sign of shirtless blaize, a soft chuckle escaped her lips, and the for a moment emotionless face returned to it's usual happiness. as the ice mage walked after his shirt, salem looked at lillian and with her ordinary trademark half-smile on lips, she asked the celestial mage. "anyways, do you think we should inform someone that we are going?" her glare flickered away... "or should we simply go, as they seem to be taken over by... fighting... again."

SUNDAST

By some miracle Sundast was actually able to fall asleep for a few minutes. It wasn't much, but fortunately it was enough for her to be able to function for a while. Still feeling a little groggy, Sundast looked around the guild. Everyone seemed rather occupied so she guessed she would have to entertain herself for a while. Almost subconsciously she began to hum softly which gradually turned into quiet singing. "It's like we pulled a pin out of a grenade, it just didn't go off right away, but man did it go off when it finally did. Everything's suddenly magnified, it's loud and it's quiet at the same time as the echo of it's all over sets in..."

Roslyn was taken aback by Sliske's scathing response. A wave of shock flowed through her body, numbing her mind for a moment as wide blue eyes stared blankly at him. It didn't take long for her to recuperate, and a fiery ball of anger soon burned in her chest. Although indignantly seething on the inside, her outward expression didn't waver. Hands that were once clasped together were now curled into tight fists at Roslyn's sides. "I wasn't asking you to talk about it, whatever IT is. I just wanted to help you get your mind off of it." Roslyn managed to make it through those two sentences with an unwavering tone, although her teeth were clenched. The water mage held that rigid position for a few more heartbeats before finally being able to relax, her anger beginning to ebb away. Exhaling a defeated sigh, she signaled Sliske goodbye with a curt wave of a hand, eyes not daring to look at him. Once she turned away, her deadpan act dropped and her lips curved down into a slight frown. "He has some nerve to snap at me like that," Roslyn muttered under her breath.

The reaction from the dogs brought a smile to Adara's face and she looked over at the request board. "That sounds like fun. I haven't looked at it yet today, but there's probably something we could do." After another glance towards Sundast, Adara pursed her lips momentarily. "Do you know how Sundast is doing? She doesn't look too good. Was it a job she took?" Seeing as every member of Fairy Tail was considered family, Adara was worried about her guild-mate. If she was just exhausted from a job, that would make sense, but she wanted to make sure that everything was okay before she took off on a job. "Would it be okay if we stopped by to make sure she's okay?" Her concern for her friends was something that Adara never took lightly. If something about her friends was off, she would make sure she found out what was wrong or at least make sure she was there for them.

Adara's concern for Sundast was rather sweet. Bruce had always looked after his guildmates and Adara's similar behavior was rather comforting. "Maybe we should talk to her," Bruce paused "What job did she take anyways?" Bruce started to walk towards Sundast with his dogs following him. "Let's go see."

Following behind Bruce, Adara approached the table Sundast was sitting at. "Hey Sundast" There wasn't really any way she could think of to ask why Sundast looked so tired and worn out without sounding rude so she looked to Bruce in hopes that he might have a good way of starting a conversation without insulting the target party. Then, all of a sudden an idea came to her, albeit not a very impressive one. "Um, we were wondering what kind of job you just came back from." It was possible that Sundast wasn't as worn out as she looked and might want to go on another job. Adara wasn't sure if Bruce would be okay with her coming along, so she kept her mouth shut about what they were going to do.
