Lore took a deep breath and hesitated before opening the door. She realized how she must look. Wisps of her hair must be sticking from the top of her head and her shirt was probably crumpled even worse then before. She quickly let her hands glide over the top of her head in an attempt to smooth down her hair and she quickly tugged at the bottom of her shirt. The top of her braid was bulging over the collar of her shirt and she quickly stuck her hand up the back of her t-shirt to pull it down. Lore took one last deep breath before hesitantly pushing open the door a crack just big enough for her lean figure to fit through. She stepped through the slim opening and quietly pushed the door shut with a soft click which seemed to echo through the room. Lore stood in the rest position she had been taught in Karate, feet spread shoulder width apart. However her weight wasn’t balanced evenly on both feet as it should be. She glanced up at the man sitting at his desk. She guessed it was Mr. Hayden. He seemed tense about something. Clenching her hands behind her back to stop herself from messing with her clothes she looked down and spoke quietly. “I’m sorry I arrived tardy. I should have come here faster.” Lore apologized meekly. Her scar ached and her fingers longed to touch or scratch it, but she felt a need to present herself well to Mr. Hayden, whoever he was. She glanced up, her face still down, to see what his reaction would be. She just hopped her punishment wouldn’t be too severe.

Name: Kayla

Gender: Female

Age: 12

Appearance: Kayla is lean and muscular. She is around 5.4 ft. tall, with a long upper body. Her eyes are a dark pine green with a few tints of yellow near the edge. Kayla’s hair is brown with natural highlights and reaches to her mid upper arms. Her arms and legs are heavily scarred from objects ranging from thorns and sticks to knives. She usually wears a long sleeved collard greenish silver shirt that reaches down to her thighs and black leggings. Kayla goes barefoot

History: Her mother died at her birth from which point on her father looked after her older sister, older twin brothers and her. At five years of age, one of her brothers, James, then twelve abandoned and betrayed her family to join the alliance. The alliance soon attacked their home in order to recruit her other older brother, Justin, and her father and take her older sister, Kathryn. Justin was forced to join but Kathryn and father were killed in the fight to keep their freedom. Being so sick she was close to death, Kayla was abandoned out into the wild to die. A poor hunter found her, nearly dead, while looking for game in the forest and took her in to live with him and his wife. Kayla recovered and had a fairly normal life until the hunter’s wife, now like a mother to Kayla, died when Kayla was ten. Her adoptive father then took to drinking and nearly went mad with grief about his wife’s death. He stopped recognizing Kayla for his adopted daughter and started abusing her in the following year. Confused and a little angry Kayla ran back to the wild where she had come from to live alone, away from the human population and heartbreak at age 11. She learned to survive by herself with the help of hill bandits. Kayla taught herself how the basics of fighting with a knife and stick by defending herself against “dangerous” trees attacking” her. When she was recently found and chased by the alliance and only narrowly escaped but discovered her first power.

Personality: Sly and seemingly mysterious she is very observant

2. - Sight – She can see past and present events even if they are happening thousands of leagues away. It takes a lot of energy though and usually leaves her weak and sometimes unconscious.
