Melanie let out a content-sounding sigh as she picked up a dead leaf that had fallen onto the pier a couple of feet away. Her blue eyes watched it carefully as it swayed with the cool breeze that came through; with a faint smile, she released the leaf, watching as it floated along with the wind, just inches above the water.
As the leaf disappeared, her gaze slowly drifted along the pier, momentarily pausing on a girl who was standing on the railing(Kolbie); she watched for a few short seconds, noticing it looked as if the girl was planning to jump. She quickly propped herself up, pulling her towel onto her lap as she turned to face the girl who was now sitting down. "You ok?" she asked.

Xavier tilted his head ever so slightly, looking almost puppy-like as Trinity quickly stopped herself from saying what he thought was "vampire" and replaced it with "people". He quickly brushed it off, turning his attention back to her. "Nice to meet you." he smiled, which was definitely odd for him. Even on his good days, he'd usually just wave and be on his way. "So, do you live around here?" he asked, a bit shocked himself that he was actually willing to start a conversation.

Trinity 'lived' around there once. Until all the junior high's students started to disappear.. but she left tha tout "Yes, I lived here once before. I've come back to go to High School." trinity said, "What about you? Do you live in this neighborhood?"

Kylee nodded her agreement. "Yeah, Mitchell does sound kinda formal. So, you usally come here alone? Why's that?" She paused, giving herself a break to think. "There's nothing wrong, but I thought most hu- people spent the summer with their friends." She quickly caught herself before she said humans. People sounded better plus, humans didn't say humans when they're talking about themselves right? Did that make sense? She mentaly shrugged, as far as Mitch knew, she was like him. A living, breathing human.

Kolbie gazed deeper into the sea, she was so desperatly wanting to jump but was held back by something she would call the arm's of her loved one's. Sighing she clasped her hands together and dipped her head shifting her expression to a fake one when she faced the girl. ''Yeah.......perfect!'' she smiled as she held onto the necklace's, she always acted this way with stranger's because they weren't her family and so they would just probably pick on her or beat her up until she answered. Plus is she had a happy expression it made them go away faster.

[Writer's block, sorry i've used up my creativity for posts on Gaia so it's just drained me, especially for the expectations they have on thier jeez!]

Melanie's gaze flickered from the sandy pier, back to the girl as she spoke. "Sorry," she thought sarcastically, but held herself back, figuring it'd be best not to voice her opinoin. Gently biting down on her lower lip, Melanie began twisting one of the many bracelets wrapped around her wrist as she thought of something else to say to at least try to have a functional conversation.
"Uh, do you come here often?" she asked, tracing patterns in the small amount of sand available. "Not trying to sound creepy or anything, but I don't think i've seen you here before" she added on shortly after with a slight shrug, keeping her eyes locked on the pier.

"Yeah," Xavier nodded. "My house is about a mile away. It's pretty nice having the beach within walking distance seeing as I don't have a car." he added on with a soft laugh, lightly scuffing the sole of his shoe across the pavement--bad habit. "Maybe I'll see you around school next year" he shrugged. "What grade are you? Junior? Senior?"

Turning her head Kolbie's eye's sparked with happiness with the thought of no one noticing her before. Before speaking she continued to fiddle with her necklace's sitting down on the railing she sighed ''well...actually....i come here alot but mostly! At like after midnight! You know a sneak out of the house time!'' She smiled as her eye's dimmed a little as she spoke. ''I don't like coming here during daylight because of all the people with thier family's'' she said plainly but then she got a woried expression as to if the girl might ask why quickly adding in with a worried monatone ''But! It's just because i like peace and quiet and in daylight you don't get that!'' she said frantically.
