"You know what we ought to do tomorrow? We should sneak down to the kitchens. Bloody house elves are always thrusting all sorts of good nosh in your face down there," Gidget chuckled before taking another drink of her butterbeer. "The last time I went down there was with Lysander and Braxlin, and we stayed there all day," she said a bit dreamily, reminiscing the times she'd spent with her brothers here at Hogwarts.

Scorpius chuckled lightly. "The house elves are always good fun. Except when they chase you," he said playfullu, remembering the times he had with other Slytherin kids.

Nix gazed up at the hall before her with undisguised wonder. To anyone watching she might have looked crazy, staring at a perfectly normal hallway as if Harry Potter himself stood there. However for the young sixteen year old who had only ever left her suburb once in her life this was utterly fascinating. Reaching a hand up to run it through her straight blonde hair she turned her stormy eyes down to the unusual looking cat that stood beside her. The cat returned her gaze with a slightly smug expression, as if it was he himself who had created this for her.
"How are we gonna find the common room Sebastian?" She asked her companion. Only silence greeted her words however, it was far to early in the morning for anyone to be awake much less tell her where she should be going. The young Slytherin girl looked at her small shoulder bag which oddly enough held all her belongings but weighed no more than a feather, courtesy of a few charms of course.

Feeling that was quite enough time to stand around gawking like an idiot she began to make her way slightly nervously though the corridor attempting to act as confident as the cat. It only took her seconds to realize she was utterly lost. She once again sought her pet for comfort.
"Can't you tell me where it is? You always seem to be able to turn up anywhere." She asked him almost exasperatedly, she cringed to think what she might look like to anyone who may be watching,
"You there!" A voice called. Nix swung around in alarm to pinpoint where the voice was coming from, whipping out her pale wand in automatic defense, she was surprised however to find that her summoner was no more than a grumpy looking man in a painting.
"Don't you point your wand at me young Slytherin! What do you think you're doing up at this hour?" The man demanded,
"Uh.. I'm sorry Sir." Nix garbled a reply, lowering her wand as she did so, "I'm new here and I can't find my common room."
"You look a bit old to be a newcomer aren't you? Ah well! You'll find it ..." He then began to list of a rather complex series of instructions. Trying hard to memorize them all Nix nodded her thanks, turning and racing off down the corridor he directed,
"Thanks Sir!" She called over her shoulder as she vanished. The man grumbled briefly into the silence that followed, frowning as if he were thinking before finally muttering to himself,
"Sir? From a Slytherin? That's somethin' new."

"Chased? Bloody Hell..." Gidget chuckled. She ran a hand through her scarlet hair before drinking down the last of her Butterbeer. Her stomach was warm, and she felt good. "So, the kitchens later, and then... Quidditch, perhaps? We didn't really get much accomplished the other day. Besides, I need to practice with a real Snitch. I've been using a Muggle golf ball all summer, and I've got to say: They're WAY easier to catch that the real thing," she said happily, with a real smile on her face. Lysander used to call her real smiles Gidget Smiles, and he said they were "so magical". The thought made her happy. She really did miss those two, even if they were only lazy cunts.

Scorpius laughed lightly and his entire body felt warm. Her smiles definitely were beautiful, stunning really. He sipped the last bit of his butterbeer, a light foam coating his pink lips. He licked it off slowly, enjoying the taste.

Gidget thought for a moment. "You know, maybe you could come and visit my family sometime. Say, perhaps, over Christmas break?" she asked sweetly. She waited a moment for his reply before taking her mug and knocking it against the edge of the table. A thin waitress walked over to them and Gidget requested that she bring them each a new glass of Butterbeer. They woman eyed Gidget's hair and piercings suspiciously before walking away to the kitchen to get them more drinks. Gidget turned back to Scorpius. "Tell me about your family. You've said trivial bits, but I'd like to know a bit more before I meet them. Wouldn't want to appear daft," she chuckled.

Scorpius watched ger with gentle eyes, nodding silently. "That sounds excellent. I would love to." He smiled, watching the waitress come and go before returning his gaze back to Gidget. "Well you see, my mother is a perfectionist that can't stand disorder or messiness. Dad however, he's strict when it comes to rules. I have to be five minutes early for everything, I can't miss school, and quidditch is high priority. I think it's because Grandfather Lucious wasn't strict enough or something," he muttered. He knew most purple acted in a way that they wished others had with them.
