Rein: I nodded curtly, though I knew for sure that my face had darkened. "Yeah, it is." I mumbled absently petting the cat on my shoulder and looking between the two. "W-wouldn't you kn-know t-th-th-that?" I asked, walking closer to her to get a better glance at the wall.

Rhia laughed slightly. "We're a rather large family. This is my... some odd generation cousin, Lanny." She began with a slight laugh at his reaction to Lanny. "And as I said before, I'm Rhian Orenda." She finished with another smile. After she shook his hand she recoiled hers and looked down at the cats. "You seem to not like cats." she laughed. She then looked up at him as he started panicking. "What do we know about what?" She asked, her right, pierced, eyebrow raised slightly.

Rein: "I meant that....w-well n-nevermind." I mumbled absently petting Mr Shoulder Cat. Hence how I named it mentally. I shifted slightly and glanced at the wall. "I'm Rein....Sohma." I finally said, feeling a bit awkward in this situation. "T-that's our r-residence. So I was wondering i-if you h-had buisness."

Rhian watched him for a second. "Sohma... I know that name." She muttered as she looked down at her back combat boots for a minute. "Nope... no business with you or your family... we just wanted to see what al the commotion was about." She said with a shrug as she looked back up at him.

Rein: I didn't miss the first part. But I let it slide, maybe because I didn't care enough. "It's a family thing." I explained quickly. Managing to ocasionally pin down my stutter, as long as I didn't look either girls in the eyes. "It happens every year." The cat on my shoulder shifted and moved to my other should, appearently deeming it fitter for it's royalness. I made sure that I looked just above their eyes, like the tree behind them. Yes, it was a very interesting tree wasn't, very interesting tree....

Rhian looked at him for a second, her gaze looking directly into his eyes. "I'm assuming for the Chinese new year." she began, and didn't phrase it like a question. "For a while I thought my family was the only one odd enough to through a huge party for the new year." She laughed with a slight shrug. She then looked at him again. "Why don't you ever look us in the eyes?" She asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Rein: Yikes, she was really scaring me when she mentioned her family. "If I meet your eyes I'll stutter." I explained as bluntly as I could. Not really wanting to have this conversation. "Then, you'll be confused." I wrapped my arms around myself as if I was insecure, though I was actually just cold. "That's just how I 'look' at you, but don't 'see' you."

"Every year?" Lanny nodded. "Dont some Sohmas go to our schools?" Lanny said suddenly. She was in Jr. High but she knew of the Sohmas. Lanny had heard some of the Zodiacs in highschool talk about some of the sohmas.

About the cat and the poison.... Oh. I shifted, only just, because I remember the obstacle on my shoulder. It purred when I stroke it's head. "I guess a few people would know the Sohmas." Just not about them.
