[Complicated game]

It was stupid, you knew it was. You found this old lady on the streets trying to sell stones to make her living. Nothing more than hunks of Limestone, and with a good life and cash to burn, you can easily take pity on this old woman. If so, you have nothing more than a stone, if not, life goes on. Whatever you chose, one day you see brown spots on your skin. You hide it well. It's no big deal. After a week or so, the stone has chipped away into a glowing precious stone, and your skin is worse than ever. Then pain. You pass out, and when you wake up you're in a sunny field, but you are no longer you. You're a monster. If you had the stone, you find it in a small sack beside you with some supplies. You can only remember your name and the woman. If you had no stone, nothing. You remember only your name, and you know the name of this place. Terra Nilhil. So now you wander the valley, mountains, and forests, meeting others like you. They were cursed and moved as you. Each day they wander as humans, at night as beasts. So what lies from here? Will you survive the rivalries for resources, or will the wild Terra Nihil break you down?

Hello! My name is Second_Choey [although people have taken to calling me "Second" or "Choey"], and recently I've been searching for an excellent roleplay. First of all, let me clarify: I am in search of quality RPs that I think have great substance to them and are something that I've not seen before. Lately I'm on the search of very innovative RPs. I am not one of those people that will write 4-6 paragraphs per post [unless that's how much you write, in which case it'll be an easy matter to respond to]. I prefer quality over sheer quantity, and I'm not a particular fan of prattling on about things not necessarily related to the context to take up a paragraph or two. I don't go all out on my posts, but I don't think they're particularly ugly, per se. I'm on rather consistently, so you can count that I will usually respond about twice per day.

Semi - Literate to Literate
➸ You must require good spelling, grammar, and punctuation. At most I can post 3 - 4 paragraphs, but that's only if you give me enough to respond to. Typically I will post a minimum of one thick paragraph or two or three shorter ones.

Original Ideas
➸ Seriously, if I see another lab experiment RP about children that are running off and going to take down the organization...well, I won't judge you if you like those kinds of RPs, but for me personally they're becoming rather trite.

Not Purely Romance
➸ Romance is a fact of life, but at the moment I'm not really looking for a RP specific to romance.

Has Not Started
➸ It's a pet peeve of mine. I prefer to be in RPs before they've started [like, at all. As in not even one RP post].

Twilight
➸ DENIED. I will not deny that it's not an entertaining piece of work, but in terms of plot, originality, grammar, and other things it's not exactly the most glorious piece of literary art I've come across, and the creatures in it were somewhat ... unrealistic. And it's a fantasy book. That's a problem.

➸ I actually don't understand the attraction of these sorts of RPs, but to each his own.

➸ I actually don't have a thing against them, but I will not participate in an RP that requires a character that is one of them. I do not mind, however, if other characters are any of these.

Illiterate RPs
➸ Well, it's against my requirements, too.

Celebrity RPs
➸ I'm really not into people enough for something like that. This includes all--ll--ll celebrities.

Animal RPs [realistic or fictional
➸ I never really got into the groove of RPing an animal, and I don't think I have the knowledge of animals to really play them convincingly. This also includes equestrian, avian, or similar roleplays.

Below The Surface - Semi Literate to Literate - A Newly Made RolePlay - Please Join -

We are not human. We are not fish. And we are most certaintly, definately, most infinetely, not half of anything. We are whole. We are real. We are Mer. Our kind does not sit on rocks jutting from the ocean, brushing our hair and waiting for love. We don't carry golden tridents and live in castles underwater. Those are human thoughts. They don't belong in Ingo. The Mer, we do sing, though. But our songs are ones of danger and delight. We sing to you human sailors and divers, calling you out to sea. We speak pure Mer, and pull you down with us. We call and call, but you can't leave the Air behind you. And then we let you drift away and join our graveyards full of bones. Our songs are irresistable, there's absolutely no escape. Our king has no coaches pulled by dolphins, does not have a flowing beard. He's old and scarred and full of hate, and wants the world for Mer. He sets strict boundries, and the punishments are severe. Those who don't obey our king join the humans in our graveyard. Ingo is a wild deep, no place for human souls. The currents push and pull and kill, the sharks and seals rip flesh from your bones. We are proud warriors and have families of our own. When humans try to disrupt our world, we leave no survivors and take no prisoners. We will fight until all of Ingo is ours, and Air and human alike can't touch us here.

Our Leader is Tyron. He is rarely seen, and lives far away in the great vast ocean, deep below us. He was chosen by the Prophets to lead us. He can survive depths even us regular Mer can't. Tyron is strong, and old. He has tan skin with scars filling every inch. His hair is black and shoulder length, his eyes are black pools of hate. You do not cross Tyron and expect to live. He rules with strict orders, but he keeps us safe and makes us warriors. There is only one rule that would cause him to rage if it was broken; do not fall in love with a human. Do not interact with them unless it is to drown them, he tells us. There will be no friendships between the Mer and the humans. And children between Mer and human is unspeakable. It's not that we hate the humans, atleast not most. We just don't like when the bring their Air thoughts and ideas into Ingo, and disrupt us far below the sea, where they do not belong.

But Tyron has been silent for a long time. The boundries between Air and Ingo have begun to break, and the rumours are true, there are hybrids. Mer and human children, daughters and sons of both Air and Ingo. They walk on land and dive deep with the Mer. Tyron will not be happy. When he returns from wherever he has gone, he will rage, and kill all those who have dared to oppose him.

Our kind is being divided, pushing away from each other. We have begun to weaken, and Ingo has been thrown into chaos. There are those who believe in the ways of Tyron, and who believe that humans are for drowning only, and keeping out of Ingo. They are the Defenders. And then there are the ones who want to break the bounds between Ingo and Air, and be allowed to befriend the humans. They call themselves the Rebels. Some of us do not know what to do. They do not care, and want this warring to end.

They want things back to the way it was, with everyone living below the surface in our seaweed forest or coral caves. With children growing up peacefully, and training to become warriors at fourteen. When there was only one enemy, and that was the humans who dared enter Ingo. Now instead, when a child turns fourteen, they must join the group they were born into. Mer are killing Mer, young children soldiers filling our graves. The ocean has been divided, with the Rebels having part of the territory, and the Defenders having the other. Ingo is in pain. These are human thoughts, human ways. We are falling apart, and the war has only just begun.

Welcome to the Labrotory. Here, You aren't normal. You are a mutant, a test subject. At a small age, you were abducted from your home and tested. The scientists vary in personality, some are evil and cruel, but others are nice and want to help you escape. You can control your transformation, unless they inject you with a certain serum. Here, you aren't free. Some of the mutants are lucky to even be in normal cages, as some get solitary confinement. You don't know what happened to you, or what your previous life is like. All you know, is that you have to escape, before it's toom late.

Hey there! Fruit-Punch here, or as many people call me, Fruity. June 7th is my last day of school, so I am excitedly looking for roleplays! I am someone who will not join a roleplay unless I think it looks nice and neat. I am one of those people who set there mind on just two characters, and I get to know what I have created. So I can post from two big paragraphs to multiple smaller ones. I am pretty sure I have OCD so me making my posts neat is a must. But since I have no life, I can usually respond about three times a day.

You stare at your half eaten peanut butter and jelly sand witch. You stick your finger deep into the bread watching the jelly squirt out the sides. Your parents stare at you motioning for you to stop. You stare at the four pairs of feet under the dinning room table. You couldn't remember the last time you sat here. When you had gotten home that morning, you could tell that your parents had cleaned up for your arrival cause of the fresh lavender scent that had not been there before. It's your birthday, and you got the strangest gift. Your parents are sending you away to a camp where nothing is normal, Camp Lonestar.
