Not expecting anyone to sit by her, Rose rested her head against the table. He let her eyes fall closed. Her head snapped up when she heard a voice, not having heard the soft sounds of someone sitting down. She felt her cheeks flush with color, embarrassed even more for blushing. "Ohx n-no not at all," she stammered, reaching up to tuck her hair behind her war and sit up a bit more straight so she didn't look like he was hunched over. "Just tired," she added, looking over at the new boy to look him over before dropping her gaze. Her tone was naturally soft and warm, inviting, and now was no different. She twisted her hands together in her lap, knowing she must look pale and and tired indeed. Every sound cut deep into her headache, making her want to just leave and go back to her room, curl up and sleep. She felt more and more sick to her stomach, and shaky too, but she wouldn't complain. She would endure breakfast as long as she could, before disappearing up to her room for the rest of the day. She'd probably be sick too, and didn't want that to happen in public, or anywhere near public.

Alex studied her face that sprang up from the table from his awkward position on the table. He couldn't help but let a simple smile slip upon his lips as the blood surfaced in her checks. This darkening on her face made her already place face seem bloodless. She appeared as if death haunted her and she could get no sleep for fear of the frightening creatures that stalked her dreams. For once he felt at home, just by the embarrassed reaction of this one sickly appearing girl. He lifted his chin from his arms where it had become to cut the circulation off and he settled back to study the red blotch on his skin where his chin had been. There was probably a matching mark on his chin but he honestly didn't care. He lifted his eyes from his arms feeling slightly rude to have not responded to her yet. " Tired? " He echoed using the same the soft tone she had used, assuming there was a reason for her meek voice. " Im sorry to tell you but you look on the brink of death. " He stretched his arms up over his head as he studied her down cast face waiting for a response. He found himself worrying over her, he was half tempted to offer helping her find the nurses office but he restrained for fear of insulting her.

Already, the brown haired girl felt bad about lying. She didn't like to lie, and it made her feel extremely guilty when she did, something she couldn't help. But, at the same time, she disnt want many people to know of the massive headaches that aimed her. She watched as he raised his head, seeming to have to think before he spoke again. While she waited, she followed his gaze to his arm, noticing the red circle there, along with one on his chin. She didn't say anything about it though, not wanting to sound rude. When he did speak, his tone was soft, making Rose want to hug him. Or thank him at least. Most people just talked normally, and that just made it worse. "Well, maybe not just tired," she said, dropping her gaze when he looked up. She was a shy girl, and didn't enjoy looking people in the eye when she had just met them. Once you got to know her though, there was an almost complete change. The girl supposed she did look quite 'death' like, and the blush faded quickly. At such moments, she didn't care to concentrate hard enough to keep the flames from her fingers, this point proven as she reached up to rake her hair back, and flames danced upon her fingers until they were pushed into her hair, pushing her hair back, and stayed there as she leaned her elbow on the table, her head resting on her hand. "Migraine," was her mumbled explanation, and she shut her eyes for a brief moment, before realizing it would probably be considered rude, and snapping them open to reveal her now dull green eyes.

At her migraine comment Alec's mind tumbled into work. His mother had often times gotten horrible migraine headaches and that left Alec with having to find a solution to her problems since it left her limp and useless as a rag doll. He chuckled soft as hr suggested in the same soft tone he had used before, " Oh. Well have you tried a double dose of aspirin and coffee? " There were a few other solutions he could think of but those required some time and the one he had just suggested with the easiest way to go if you need a quick fix to a migraine headache. A yawn seized Alec's mouth and he was forced against his will to open his mouth and yawn. He hesitated then covered hs mouth as he yawned. His eyes squeezed shut in a funny manner as he yawned. As soon as he could he opened them and forced his mouth shut. He was still tired and could go for a good long nap, he found that sleeping was better than sitting around doing nothing.

" You should give it a try, it always helped my mum. " Alec finally said after he had managed to recover from the gignatic yawn of his that could have perhaps swallowed a human head if angled correctly. He lifted his hand and wiped his sleep withdrawn eyes before he returned the soft smile that she offered in thanks to his advice - or at least that is what he assumed the smile on her lips was about. After a moment of just complete silence between the two who were obviously on the shy end of outgoingness Alec added slowly as he studied his arm where the red mark was fading into a pale pink, " If you want, " He paused suddenly as he poked his skin, " I can help you find the nurses office. " He was silent for merely a second before his gaze shot back up to her face as he added quickly, " That is if you don't already know where the nurses office is. "

Rose thought about the offer, and wracked her mind to try and remember if she did have any pills back in her room. Perhaps... The green eyed girl thought she did, but if not, she could live without them. The walk from her room to the cafeteria wasn't long, but the walk from her room to the nurse's ward was. "N-no thank you," she said after a moment, giving a slight shake of her head that sent the locks of her hair tumbling from the position behind her ear. "I wouldn't want to be a trouble, and I'll probably just go back to my room anyway..." Se was cut off by the ringing of a bell, signaling for them all to be quiet, that they would be served soon. {If that is okay to add that in. If not, I can change it} Rose flinched at the very loud sound, her eyes once again focused downward at a piece of table that seemed chipped away. She fell silent though, waiting.

Alex breathed in the heavy scent of food, it was enough to make him start yearning for it anyway. He followed JJ off to one of the table since he didn't know anyone else here, he was pretty clueless still as to what to expect. He looped his foot around the chair leg, pulling it out from underneath the table and sitting on it without even questioning if the other boy would mind, Alex was pretty forgetful and manners was a thing he forgot a lot of the time. He was almost ravenous waiting for the waitresses and waiters to serve food, he just hoped they'd hurry up.

((@ Atmosphere. - I'm terrible at recaps, sorry in advance XD. Right, I think everyone's headed off to the food hall after hearing over the intercom that it was lunch time~ JJ is with Alexander, Rose is with Alec, that's all I know. Sorry))

Blocking out the sounds of the other voices, Tessa was oblivious to the ringing bell. That was a good thing, since Tessa would have probably flinched or jumped if she had heard the loud noise. But instead she was just sitting there, biting her lip as her mind drifted. She wondered how her mother was doing, and hoped she was alright, living alone. Tessa had always been there for her. Well, somewhat. Tessa was quiet and shy, but was still someone to stick by her mom who struggled. Now her mom didn't have anyone, which caused Tessa to frown. She's have to call her mom sometime soon, to check and see if she was doing alright. Of course, it would probably be a short phone call. Tessa being quiet, and her mother seeming distant. That's how it had been for a very long time.

Everyone was doing their own thing when a loud alarm came off saying they needed to report to the Mess Hall. Since was because food has been made. So most people made their way to the hall, and they're waiting for people to serve them. JJ and Alex are sitting together, and Rose and Alec are sitting together.
