Casey's head whirred as her parents brought her to platform nine-and-three-quarters by means of side-along appiration. "Never gets old," She murmured, blinking to get the spots out of her vision.
"Don't worry C.J." Her mother, Persophene, said, "You'll get used to it. Side-along is a beast." She smiled at her only daughter for a few seconds, before pushing her away, "You'd better get on the train. Write every month! At least! Don't buy anything crazy from hogsmede! I love you!"
Casey grinned at her mother's annual display of letting her go, then having forgotten to list the essentials, yells them after her. She waved to the tall blonde, and boarded the train.

Courtney~
Courtney sat on an empty compartment, twirling her wand around her fingers. Having gotten here early, she didn't have much to do except slowly watch the students flow in.
