Severus nearly growled, he was attempting to be nice, and she was staining at him as if he had just turned into an elephant! "What?" He grumbled, not letting her hand go.

Lissy shook her head. "Oh Severus, why are you always so grumpy?" She asked, taking a step closer to him. She gazed at him, her green eyes meeting the black ones. "Put the mask of... Sev.... I know you are a sweet guy... Why don't you show your true self?" She asked softly

Severus looked as if she had just slapped him. HIM! The Evil Bat, SWEET?! How did she know? He had done his best not to allow himself to become close enough to anyone for them to see his true side, yet here Liszy was, breaking down each of his carefully constructed walls. Despite himself, Severus had wound his other arm around the smaller woman's shoulders, pulling her gently to his chest. "Because... No one cares enough to try and see beyond the Evil Bat."

Lissy chuckled slightly "I do, Severus, I'm trying, but you won't let me" Amazed by what he had just done, was it a hugg? She inwardly chuckled at how his face stood as she had said that. "You know, Severus. People tried, but you build you walls so high, that no one can reach you, why?"

"Bcause, pain comes from close bonds..." Severus muttered, his arm tightening around Lissy slightly, his jaw tightening as he attempted to hide the painful memories away as he normally did, thinking that the woman would be able to hear, or feal, the way his heart twisted so painfully.

Lissy sighed "That is true..." She said softly, thinking of her sister who had called her a freak when she had got the letter of Hogwarts, how she kept caling her that, how she had broke the bond they had together. Silent tears were now streaming down her cheeks as she though of it. "I know how you feel..." She said softly, swallowing.

"Shhh..." Severus mumbled, rocking his body slighly. He could tell she was crying, no matter how she tried to hide it.

Lissy sniffed slightly, burrying her face in her black robes. She sniffed once more and rubbed the tears out her eyes, smiling weakly at him as she looked up at him. "Sorry..."

"It's alright." Severus mumbled, just now realizing that he was still holding her hand. Not caring he continued to hug her, his black eyes... Soft, as he looked down at the woman.
