In her head, those same images of her family dead were frozen there, like someone had pressed the pause button on it, and all she saw was blood, her families' bodies, and the terrible, gory smile of an Eraser.

Athena cought up with Fang, happy to finally see Riley resting in a sense and giving Fan a break.

Storm followed them intently never letting them out of his sight.

As I reached the cave I landed quite ungracefully and stumbled inside with a groan. I quickly set Riley down and arranged her in a more comfortable position before just collapsing on the cold hard flood carelessly. Exhaustion quickly set in and I simply laid there panting trying to catch my breath.

Athena landed after Fang, and placed Hiro on the ground where he was sitting before they had left. "You okay Fang?" She asked with a little pant in her breath.

Storm watched where they landed and realized it was high up on tall steep cliff. She paused for a moment then began his climb to the cave with careful steps.

I looked up at Athena for a moment and nodded in response. In reality though, I was less than ok. My wounds had reopened due to Riley's struggling and I was tired. I hoped that she wouldn't wake up for a while because I was in no condition to deal with her.

he had gotten into the house through a window and scavenged as much as he needed. unfortunately he had a run in with a Eraser, and managed to get a dart to his hip and a scratch, but other then that he was completely fine. The dart had luckily just skimmed his skin, but it still made him a bit more drowsy then usual. He fluttered back to the cave, dodging the lights of whitecoats and Erasers that where scouting the area. Ren landed clumsily, the backpack full of supplies hanging off his shoulder. He had a three-clawed scratch gouged on his cheek, and his hair was a mess, but other then that he was completely fine. Exhausted, but fine.

The moment I caught sight of a battered and bruised Ren, I jumped to my feet and winced as pain shot through my body. Growling I stalked over to his and ran my fingers over his injured cheek as gently as I could manage. "You look terrible." While that wasn't the nicest thing I could have said to him in that moment, it was all I could think to say.

Storm saw Ren land in the cave with supplies and he soon reached the cave entrance as well. He pulled himself up and his mind was eased when he saw the flock together

He nodded softly, dark circles under his half-closed eyes. "Yeah, I know that." Ren muttered, wincing slightly when she touched the scratch. "I'm fine." he managed, dropping the heavy backpack and catching her gaze.
