Ezio stood up, brushing the grass off his white cloak.
"It's tme we got back to Ragne and teh others. Rafiq seems to approve of the for now. And we have nothing else to do." He placed a hand on Altair's shoulder, he was still sitting looking to the sky.He slowly stood and then shook his head.
"I never thought i'd see her again." Altair murmured and Ezio grabbed him by the shoulders.
"I know. We have to move on. You think no other assassins have been in your predicament?" Ezio responded, a small smile on his face.
The mounted their steeds and Rojan neighed shrilly as they galloped towards the forest. When they entered a chilly silence took over tha ir and Ezio slowed, ALtair searching the trees with his Eagle Vision. Oro pawed the ground furiously, and Ezio knew something was off. HE nodded to Altair and they dismounted, creeping through the forest like snakes. Ezio's leather greaves were silent as they crept along and Altair surveyed ahead. Altair froze at once and Ezio flicked out his wrist blade.
"Poison or metal?" He whispered and Altair clicked his blades out to symbolize that poison would be pointless. Ezio nodded, his hooded face shadowed the flicker of curiosity held within.
Altair had only seen big cats in gladiator matches and various festivals around the world, he knew they lived in teh wild but not this close to the City. Well, considering we're hundreds of miles away form the city that seems an acceptable distance for me. The brown smooth cat stalked through the forest after prey and Altair climbed a tree swiftly, leaping from the branches to follow it. Ezio was right behind him, his eyes wide in preparation. The cougar stiffened and Ezio hissed, pointing forward. Using his Eagle Vision, Altair noticed a white light up ahead, a creature moving, but it was too human like to be a natural prey animal. Altair turned and nodded to Ezio.
Ezio jumped feelin the familier rush of air under his feet and twisted his torso , holding his left blade out. He landed on the back of the beast with a slice of metal sliding through flesh and he brought the right blade down through its head within second of the first hit. The cougar jerked for only moments more then was still.
"Who's there?" Ezio called to the creature perched in fronmt of the rock.

The things I've held sacred that I've dropped
I won't lie no more you can bet
I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget
I like throwing my voice and breaking guitars
Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
I like playing in the sand what's mine is ours
If it doesn't remind me of anything)"

Wolf jumped and she raced through the woods, fear lacing through her. There coming! She thought. They have found me! They must have followed the blood trail. Adrenaline made her fast as she ran. Something yearned to go back and study the rock more, but her fear made her run. Something else rushed through her veins. Disgust. Disgust with herself for running away. It's the only logical thing to do when wounded. She told herself fiercely as she ran blindly through the forest, her connection severed. She tripped over a root and went flying, landing on her wounded arm, cutting it further. She screamed with pain and curled up in a ball, cradeling her injured arm. the wound was still deep, but now it was bigger and had dirt in it.

Ezio stiffened at the sound of the creature running through the bushes, he turned to Altair. "What was that?" He whispered, motioning to the white blur running away from them. A scream pierced the air soon after she dissapeared. Altair's eyes narrowed.
"I'm not sure we should follow it. Eagle vision showed her as white, so she wasn't a friend or foe. Meaning she wasn't a Templar. I don't think that we should get into another affair, especially you." HE\e replied sternly. Ezio cracked a smile.
"Vwhat? You tink I would go chasing after a women in distress?" Ezio gasped. Altair promptly punched him in the arm. Ezio rolled his eyes, smirking. "It was as if the creatire was blind, just runnign into the forest in such a way." Altair turned arund again,
"It doesn't apply to us Ezio! Quit meddling on other affairs!"

Wolf sat still, listening to the voices she heard. She let out a faint sigh of relief. It wasn't the Dark Elves that had cast her out. It was something else. But it wasn't her race. She pushed back her confusion and she stood up slowly, wincing. She probed her wound with a gossamer's touch and winced painfully. She froze, connecting with the forest once more. Fear laced through her when she smelled the strong mustard scent of boars. She was on the Boar's Land. She sniffed the air again and realized that her blood was stinking the place up. She grimaced and walked back towards the rock, not wanting to be caught by a boar. When she reached the rock, she placed her good hand on it. She jumped back when she felt a strong and very much alive heartbeat. She placed her hand back on it and her palm glowed a dark blue. In her mind's eye, she saw a black dragon staring at her with blue eyes that lit up the darkness.
Have you come to set me free.
The dragon purred. Wolf was still shocked, but she didn't break contact.
That depends. Are you friend or foe to me?
She asked, studying the dragon. Only her eyes were blind. Not her mind.
I am friend. My name is Lero Dux, Dragon of a long forgotten court. I was trapped here by an elf of your species I presume. I smell blood. Are you wounded?
The change of topic surprised her and she answered without thinking.
Yes. I was chased out of my clan. How do I set you free?
She asked, her wound bleeding freely now.
Draw the symbol of a wolf paw on this rock and repeat my name three times. Then a fissure will open up in the rock and I will be free.
Wolf inwardly nodded and she broke contact with the dragon spirit. She blindly probed her wound, yelping out loud. When she felt the warmth of blood on her hand, she traced a wolf paw on the stone. It was pretty good considering she was blind. Then came the hard part. She thought for a moment, then she spoke so quietly, that even if you right next to her you would not hear. There came the sound of a rock shattering and she jumped back as a fissure opened up and something withdrew from the rock. She felt the presence of the dragon beside her and she turned to it.
"Thank you. You have set me free." Lero said, gently nuzzling her good arm.
Wolf smiled and just nodded her head mutely. She could not see the dragon with her eyes, but she saw him in her mind. He was tall and proud and magnificent. A beautiful black, his eyes glowing with happiness.

As they reached tehir horses, Ezio stumbled, the ground shaking beneath him. Rojan reared in surprise and Oro bolted away his eyes wide and bloodshot. Altair was flying backwards but leaned forward managing to land on his feet in a crouch.
"I hate this forest." Altair snapped. He whistled for Oro, but the golden horse was still flying across the terrain. Rojan snorted anxiously.
"I'll catch Oro, go see what just happened. Since I'm not skilled enough to handle it myself." Ezio jeered playfully then pulled himself onto Rojan. He could instantly feel the horses tense muscles and fear in his eyes. He patted his friends neck and called "Vada!" Rojan blasted forward with extreme speed, fueled by the fear of the noise. He immediately headed for Oro, his black hooves a blur.
Altair sighed as Ezio rode away.HE retraced tehir steps the air seemed more alive now. He crept past the still bleeding cougar and his white hooded shape watched from the reeds. A massive dragon was in the clearing now and Altair cursed under his breath. He saw three escape routes should he need them, his assassin instincts taking over. the dragon would surely scent him, but yet he waited, watching to see what he would do to the girl.

Wolf grinned at the dragon.
Your are magnificent, master dragon.
She thought spoke, smiling softly up at him. Lero smiled down at the blind girl. He felt a strange connection forming between them and he laid down, crossing his legs and watching her.
May I examine your wound? I might be able to heal it.
He asked gently. He felt rude doing it without asking. Wolf's lip twitched and she nodded her head slightly. Lero dipped his head and inspected the wound with his forked tongue, flicking it in and out. He took a minute to mix the poison on the left side of his tongue with the other poison on his tongue and he let some of it drop into her arm. Steam wafted from it and slowly, the gash disappeared, the dirt falling out of it. Wolf gasped and probed her arm, searching for the wound. it was gone. A single tear leaked form her eye and she grinned at the dragon.
Thank you, Master Dragon. Thank you so much.
She let her gratitude flow into him. Lero smiled and he purred.
You can call me Lero. Is it fine with you if I travel beside you, young elfling?
Wolf gasped and she smiled. She went to the dragon and she placed her hand on his big snout.
Yes Lero. I would love that.
Lero smiled, then, he opened his maw and he raised his head, and roared. His roar shook the earth and the trees shuddered, some falling to the ground. Wolf laughed with sheer bliss. The ground trembled beneath them. Lero stood up and closed his maw.
Come. You can ride between my wings.
Lero said gently. Wolf grinned and with a dark elf's agility, she jumped onto his back and sat between his wings, almost purring with satisfaction and joy.Suddenly, Lero swung his head and his eyes met with Altair's. He stared at him, narrowing his eyes and letting some flickers of flames escape his maw. He felt that it was his duty to protect Wolf and he would do anything to keep her safe.
