"Oh I am," Damien blurted before he could stop himself, "I mean... Um..." He tried to think of something to cover up his blurt, then sighed. "Hell... I guess I'm just really excited to make a new friend. I don't make them often, really." He beamed largely at Kaiyou and continued to move towards the door.

Kaiyou blinked twice in surprise and then smiled brightly. "Hey, I don't make friends too often either, so it's a good day for us both" She said brightly, a grin on her tan lips and she put her hand on her hip lightly and then took it off to point lightly to the her locker, it was a top locker, thank god, Kaiyou had enough trouble walking around normally without having to get on her knees to try and get her dang locker open. That would be rather annoying.

Cue whined at Mitchell, his eyes went to puppy dog eyes, "You growled at me Fluffy Mittens... me no like growls" he complained, wrapping himself tightly. Actually Cue was telling the truth, he instantly had felt that he had done something wrong once Mitchell growled at him, it wasn't very nice in his mind even if Mitchell was acting harmlessly. The school was coming into Cue's veiw up the street, oh he hoped today would go good.

Damien's excited grin grew, he was very pleased with his new, apparant friend-making-skills. Kaiyou seemed like a lovely girl and he couldn't have asked for anyone better to become friends with, he decided. Oh, besides that guy in his class... Fabian, was it? He thought that kid was just so darn cute. The thought made his smile turn into a slightly goofy one before he noted where Kaiyou's locker was. "Ah, mine's just there." He pointed two lockers' away from hers and beamed.

Mitchell glanced in surprise at Cue and frowned at him. "I was.... Just kidding Cue-Cue" He assured, slightly timid now, he grinned sheepishly and ran his fingers through his own hair a few times before frowning as school came into view, damn, it really was a typical Aussie school, good old gum tree's surrounded it, they were even in the school yards, which were half concrete, half grass and dirt.

Kaiyou looked at Damien's locker and smiled. "Nice, it's close to mine" She stated and her orange eyes narrowed as she wondered who else had a locker near them. She froze as she was slightly bumped to the side in which she had no arm, she stumbled slightly but regained her balance before she fell. She looked over her shoulder, a tiny bit pissed until she saw her, her face went black, it was Channy, the resident bookworm who always seem to be on her rag.

Run while you can A voice in the back of Kaiyou's mind told her and she poked her tongue out slightly, quickly turning back to Damien, ignoring a small death glare she got from the girl behind her.

Cue frowned as they approached the school. He watched the other teens sit out on the benches and talk to one another. It was just another plain boring school without anything exceiting ever happening to it, like most schools. The teachers were always getting annoyed with the students in his class and shouting at them and if the teacher said that the couldn't go the students would go to the windows and climb out of class, no, no this was a prefectly normal school.

"Yay!" Damien giggled and clamped his mouth shut, smiling sheepishly towards Kaiyou. A frown crossed momentarily across his features as someone shoved her, in what he thought was a deliberate way. "Is everything okay, honey?" He asked her in a low tone, the gay tone in his voice once again arising. Turning his head slightly, he glanced at the girl who'd bumped her and tried to place her face. He couldn't. He never payed much attention to others too much.

"I hate Kurnai" Mitchell said sourly as he neared the gate of the school, he looked at the kids gathered near it and they all looked wary as he approached. Churchill was a racist town, they hated gays, lesbians, blacks, Asians and all the things like that. Mitchell scowled slightly at a particular hateful looking boy before keeping on walking through the gate to the school, heading toward the locker area.

Kaiyou looked back at Damien and smiled and nodded. "Oh yes, just people like to push the amputee kid" She stated and shrugged her shoulders lightly and she smiled brightly before walking to her locker and taking the lock in her only hand and attempting to put in the code.

Cue smirked he scruffed up Mitchell's hair, "Don't worry about them, as long as I'm around no one will hurt you because you're with me" he stated. He pinched Mitchell's cheek and winked at him. Cue knew two that many people hate strong hate toward what the called the not normal people in the town, Cue was actually getting quite annoyed about it actually, who were they to say what was normal and what was not, really people should not try and stamp out people like they were themselves God.

Damien's mouth popped open and he frowned, "That's awful Kaiyou!" His frown deepened and he sighed heavily, taking a few steps over to his own locker and he bagan to fiddle with the lock until it opened. He kept shaking his head. How could someone be so cruel as to tease poor Kaiyou? It surely wasn't her fault one of her arms was missing. She wasn't any different from everyone else. And there was no reason at all that she should be teased for having one arm.
