Getting up Beth looked Gibbs right in the eyes and said nice and clear like she had just bent down to tye her shoe "Yes Sir." She now knew better to disrespect Gibbs. "Sir may I be excused for a few minutes."

Gibbs looked at beth briefly and nodded his head once. He then turned to Emmet, "I wont punish you for having your own thoughts as long as they are delieved respectfull and don't question me." he informed her before adding, "the correct way is to say 'permission to speak freely, Sir?" she seemed the most respectful of the lot.

Dunny rolled his eyes, already the sergeant had a favourite, and it also seemed more than one least favourite.

"Thank you sir" Emmet said, happy to be understood. she glanced at Dunny rolling his eyes and she had the sudden urge to see what was up with him.

Gibbs hurried on they would have plenty of time to interact with each other later. "how far did we get with saluting?" he asked.

Dunny didn't bother to answer apart from a brief flick of his wrist in front of his temple.

Gibbs noticed the boy messing about and decided to ignore it for now. But he would punish him later, it seemed that punishing him by punishing his peers didn't work they were to symperthetic.

Gibbs nodded, but fixed his eyes on her. It was some thing he could deny and if it was over used he would.

"You told us all to salut before and we did, though do we have to do it again." She realized her question was stupid and said to him again "Sorry sir that was astupid question" Emmet said.

Gibbs nodded with exagerrated patientce, "yes but then I did become some what distracted, i wasn't 100% sure you all understood." not just saluting he thought.

Dunny rolled his eyes.

Gibbs noticed he was sick of this boy being so insolent. "50 burpees, 20 pressups, thirty sit ups. double speed." he yelled.

Dunny met his eyes before slowly lowering himself to the ground.
