"I'm sure they're joking." Cera said calmly. "And besides, sometimes I think it's important to give a little motivation towards my team... When necessary, or course." She added. Now was not the time to get embarrased by that scaredy-cat of a flareon, especially in front of her own child. She'd just have to hope Yoldok would accept that answer and refrain from anymore attempts to pry out information. That and Flare and Daisy would stay quiet about what they knew.

Flare smirked at this. Those were obvious lies, at least to him. He'd been around Cera enough times in his life to tell when she was attempting to preserve her dignity. It was a refreshing change of pace to have Cera's words backfire on her. But nevertheless, Flare refrained form saying anymore, hiding his thoughts with a polite smile.

Yoldok-Male-Houndoom-Locatoin: Near heart of Forest-Tags: Cera

He decided to leave it at that, as he did not want to know some dark secret that would ruin this reunion that Cera might have. After finishing reuniting with his mother, he leaped at Daisy with a quick pounce, aggressive, assuming this was one of Cera's enemies.

She watched Yoldok finish reuniting with his mom with a soft smile, then surprised as he lept onto her, aggressively.
She dodged his snapping teeth, and his flame attacks, knowing that she was weak to this type. "Leaf, leafeon! Leaf!" Translation: "Yol-yoldok, what are you DOING?" She demanded, shocked, still dodging.

Naoki~ "Kayla and I have been hearing about that as well." I said. I took my other pokemon out of there balls.

Kayla~ I nodded. I did the same thing as well. My Latias flew happily around me and my Alolan raichu decided to be a showoff and my metag stayed where she was.

Flare's fur stood on it's end when Yoldok started to attack suddenly. Quickly leaping into the action with quick attack, he followed up with Protect to shield Daisy. "Yoldok what are you doing?" He asked with a tone of panic. He wouldn't fight if he didn't need to, after all, he didn't want to hurt Cera's child. But at the same time, it was his duty to protect both his trainer and his team. Playing defensively was his best strategy until he could figure out what was going on

Cera was relieved when Yoldok decided not to say anything else. Closing her eyes to recollect herself, she didn't notice Yoldok going to attack Daisy until she heard her frantic voice. As much as she was a bit judgmental of Daisy for taking her spot on the team roster, she didn't want her to be attacked. "Yoldok what's going on? These are allies!" She called, attempting to grab him by the scruff of his neck. She hated to admit it, but she was going to have to at least tell a bit of the truth. "I may have accidentally said something not so nice when I was swapped out of the active team, and that is entirely my fault for saying that, but that doesn't mean I hate them! It's.... well... you know how I was to some of the other pack members, especially some of the higher ups..." She glanced in the opposite direction, not wanting to see the look in the other pokemon's eyes.

Star was watching the scene intently, ready to intervene if necessary, although it seemed like Flare, Cera, and Daisy were able to handle it on their own. If needed, she could still step in with potions to heal any wounds

He saw Flare coming up to defend her, then felt teeth grab his scruff. Yoldok looked back to see Cera holding him. He looked at her, confused. He listened to what she said, then his ears dropped. Sorry.. He mumbled. "Did you really...? It's okay..." He licked her softly.

She continued dodging when she saw Flare jump infront. For a minute she was worried, then she reminded herself he was strong agaist this type. She then saw Cera grab her son, and admit what she had done, and that these were not her enemies. Daisy stood up, her tall legs walking towards Flare. "Thank you.." She told him.

Jacob-Male-Trainer-Locatoin: In town, restaurant

The trainer walked into the restaurant. "Well what do you think, Raikou? Should we get a bite to eat before we catch Daisy?" The Raikou jumped up, and yapped. Jacob laughed. "I thought so. Come on, then. " Jacob sat at a table, and began looking at the menu. His Raikou jumped up beside him. "Berry special? " Raikou wagged his tail.
"Okay then!" Jacob said. He ordered a berry special for Raikou, and a fruit platter for himself.

Flare gave a sigh of relief when Cera stepped in to grab her child. He heard Daisy thank him, and nodded with acknowledgement. He turned to Cera and spoke, a little more seriousness in his tone. "I feel like now would be a good time for you to apologize to her directly, Cera."

Cera had gently dropped Yoldok by now, and she was forced to make eye contact with Flare. Apologizing was never her strong-suit, but there was no escaping this situation. She looked away, wishing just to return to her pokeball where she didn't have to deal with this anymore, but the look in Flare's eyes were clear as day: He would wait all day if he had to just to hear her own up to her mistakes. Her tail swished around in frustration as she thought about this. She turned to Daisy and closed her eyes, not having the will to even glance at her expression. 'Smug little leafeon thinks she's tough stuff, now that she's evolved and has Flare's protection. I would easily win in a 1v1, and that wouldn't even be due to the type matchup.' She thought sharply, suddenly glad that she didn't evolve into an espeon to read her thoughts. Instead, she said to Daisy, "I'm sorry, for saying the things I did." She bowed her head to her, and then turned to Star to give her a look that said, "I'm ready to leave now."

Star quickly checked the pokemon, and there didn't seem to be any injuries sustained, fortunately. After she was done, she caught a glimpse of Cera and it seemed like she was pretty much done with the whole situation. Feeling pity, she called back Cera into her pokeball, hoping her child didn't mind.

Naoki~ “Kayla and I just want to introduce our Pokémon to all of you that’s all, Kayla and I are sorry if you guys thought that.” I said. “I use fairy and ice type Pokémon.” I said.

Kayla~ I nodded.“Yeah, and my Alolan Raichu, she likes to be a show off, if she’s out of her ball, it’s quite amusing when she does, it annoys Alexander a lot which is Naoki’s Alolan Ninetails, I use psychic type Pokémon.” I said. My Alolan Raichu flew over to Alexander and started to annoy him. “I don’t have a name for mine, like Naoki does, because I can’t think of any.” I said

She was wearing a, "I'm sorry" expression, not smug or proud. She was more dignified and mature now that she was evolved. She listened to Cera's blank apology, not really believing she was speaking truth, but recalled with inward chuckle that that's probably the best she would get. She looked at Cera with clear eyes, and responded truthfully. "Thank you, Cera. I want you to know that, I'm not trying to, take your spot, prove anything, nor am I smug or prideful. I'm new, and this I understand. I respect that you are strong, and notice you are prideful." She paused, thinking. "I hope you know this, and believe it, because I am speaking truth." She watched Cera go into her pokeball. She sighed once more and turned to Flare. "I wish she didn't think that of me like that in the first place..it was clear as day without being an espeon that she was thinking horrible things about me, before she delivered her..apology." Her eyes flashed momentarily with sadness. She let out another sigh and walked towards Star, her tail to the ground.

"Oh, it's ok, I don't mind!" She told Naoki and Kayla. "In fact, perhaps I'll show you the rest of my team, since you've already seen three." She said, tossing out the other pokeballs aside from Cera's, knowing that Cera wanted a break for a bit.

In a flash of light Samurott, Salamence, and Low-Key Toxtricity were brought out. Altitude the Salamence had gone back to her docile, lazy state, rolling onto the soft forest grass with a 'thump'. You could hardly even tell that just a while ago she was ready to battle a legendary.

Flare gave a light, sympathetic glance to Daisy. "That's Cera all right. Never good at apologies and always suspicious of everyone new. Can't blame her. Being out in the wild can be tough, especially when it comes to the super territorial pokemon. She'll come around eventually... at least I hope." He said. His mind recalled the time where Cera was belittling him when he first joined the team, and how defensive she was when it came to her and her belongings. He couldn't help but feel sorry for her that she was grown up in a position where nobody was to be trusted, not even team members. He didn't voice this, and instead gave a glance at Yoldok, studying all the physical similarities he shared with Cera, and thinking about how he had none of the personality.

"Can't blame her." Lofi the Toxtricity cut in, leaning on a nearby tree. "Survival instinct is in her blood. Not to mention she had to also go through being a part of Team Rocket, whose grunts are always attempting to claw their way up the social ladder to no avail. I only know this because I heard a few Ex-grunts talk about it one day after a performance." He said, looking down at his claws. "If you actually want an apology, good luck. She'd rather bottle her feelings up then actually tell you. But the thing about her is, that if you approach her alone, she has a better time sorting the issue out. Or at least she told me one night. I also know she likes to go on midnight strolls by herself sometimes when she's doing just that and hiding her emotions. Of course, you'd actually have to be desperate enough to actually stay up that late and talk to her." He laughed at that last bit, then went awkwardly silent when he realized nobody was laughing.

Star noticed Daisy approach her looking a little bit sad. "Not even when she's with her child can Cera stand to take it easy on the taunts..." She said to her. "Maybe I'll have a chat with her later." She said, trying to reassure Daisy as best she could, petting her.

The leafeon nodded at flare's words, and Lofi's, then went over to Star.

She looked happy as Star pet her. She smiled and her tail began to rise.

He looked at all of them with a small sigh. "Well...I should be going now...Goodbye..." He waved to everyone, lastly Kayla, still looking sad about that, then ran off from the forest. Yoldok looked back one last time at them, then ran to a far away meadow.
