Soot felt a sudden force knock her sideways. She gasped and tried to regain her footing in the air, but was unsuccessful. The draclet slammed into the rock face, and slid down, stunned. After some effort, Soot picked herself up. She had hoped to avoid a battle, but it was probably inevitable from the start. A few clumsy flaps later, Soot was in the air again. She glided slowly around her opponent before flipping her wings shut and dropping down onto the larger dragon's head, digging a claw into its left eye.

Short little RP post. I've realized that if I don't control her, then others will. Edited for spelling.
