- Letting a soft giggle escape her lips at the boy's behavior, Elincia was at least happy that he was a kind soul. It still confused her on why he had picked her of all people to come up to and ask. Sure she stood out in a crowd in the city given her traditional attire, but was that enough reason? She could only assume so. Either way, she was more than happy to help out. It was something she always enjoyed doing even back home. As long as it wasn't extremely competitive battles she always knew she would be fine helping out. "I suppose it is a good thing he is protective of me, but sometimes it's a bit much," she admitted as she looked down at the jolteon in her arms. His attitude sometimes was a bit over the top and it did worry some of the other kimono girls she danced alongside. Most of their pokemon were rather tame though they tended to only have one or two with them whereas she ended up with a full team. She was the one that took in the eevees that had been troublemakers thus why she had both Kaminari and Eskimo. That only explained why she had taken on those two. The rest just kind of happened. Alm had been her original companion that had been given to her when she first became a kimono girl, but her unwillingness to evolve him had lead her to receiving Coal to perform with instead. It wasn't so bad. Pushing the thought of how she got her pokemon from her head, she watched as Alex held a paint brush out and stated that it was his partners personal one. It was kind of amazing that the pokemon used an actual brush rather than its own tail like she assumed all smeargle did.
Nevertheless, she moved Kaminari closer to the brush so he could sniff it. After a couple seconds, the jolteon wriggled out of her arms and stuck his nose to the ground trying to pick up the other pokemon's scent. It was interesting to see her pokemon pick up on his task so easily. Most of the time he was so unwilling to do anything yet here he was already trying to track the smeargle down. It was truly a miracle. As he began to move, Elincia began to follow after him. "Seems like he's picked up on something. Come on, let's go," she said softly back in the artist's direction. Without another word, she followed her pokemon off through the crowd of people. Even if they got separated she was sure that she would be more than easy to pick out in the sea of business suits. Her kimono was brightly colored against the navy blue and black that surrounded her. As she moved along, the sight of the shiny smeargle came into view. This must be the one they were looking for. It was no surprise that it was near the food stands that lined the streets given that Alex had said that it wandered off when it smelled food it liked. Noticing that Kaminari came to a stop, Elincia crouched down beside him and gently stroked his fur. "Good job buddy. Now we just gotta wait for that boy to catch us."
