Welcome to Hogwarts 2: The Seventh Year (Anyone welcome!)

"Alright class, Today I have some ancient Mesopotamian cuneiform writings that were written by Sumerian wizards." Shigure announced, grabbing tablets with cuneiform etched into it and passing them to every student. "I will be handing out translation sheets as well."

Caleb read the assigned pages quickly, and Professor Shiftly was preparing to demonstrate the spell of transforming a human to a animal briefly.

((Argh, Mesopotamia. Now THAT wasn't funny when Cossette blabered on about it, XD))

Ayumi took the cuneiform with interest, looking at it intently. Sakura didn't know what to make of it.

"Using your translation parchments and tablet with writing in it, write what you read on a seperate sheet of parchment. It may feature old curses used by the Sumerian wizards, or just plain old wirting. This will count as a grade." Shigure's voice echoed through the corridor. "This is a part of our unit of Ancient Mesopotamia and the magic used there." He straightened his crooked glasses and sat down. His job as a Ancient Runes professor was amazing, but Shigure missed Yue-kun, Kero-kun and Tomoyo-chan back in Japan.

When the class finished the assigned pages, Professor Shiftly drew his wand. "Miscardio!" He enchanted, and suddenly, instead of the dummy turning into an animal, the spot burst into flames! Professor Shiftly's eyes flashed red, and a smile formed on his face. Caleb coughed as the fire spread, along with the rest of the class. A few ran out of the classroom, but Caleb grabbed his wand. "Aquamenti!" He yelled, and water cascaded from his wand, putting out the fire. "Oops, Wrong spell." Professor Shiftly said. Caleb was shocked the Transfiguration professor wasn't more concerned. "Anyway, Let's continue our class." Shiftly added.

Sakura looked a little nervous.
"Ayumi-chan, this makes no sense," she said.
"It's easy," Ayumi said back. She picked up a translation paper, and said, "W use this to figure out what it says, and write it down." Sakura still looked a little confused at the easiest thing, but she tried her best. Ayumi began translating.

Sean, who rapidly translated his tablet, had it written down on parchment. "Professor Reed, What does 'Tammuz was once again arise on the cresent moon before the lands's judgement' mean?" He asked. After examining it, Shigure spoke. "You see, Sumerian wizards had the idea that Tammuz, the Mesopotamian God of Death, would come to Earth on the cresnet moon before the lands's judgement, refering to the day that Earth comes to an end. They thought a powerful dark wizard would bring Tammuz to end the world, which many thought He-Must-Not-Be-Named would do so. However, He was killed a few years ago here at Hogwarts, and the end of the world won't come for a while, I assure you." He explained.

Caleb was confused. Professor Shiftly brushe doff the fire like it was nothing. It almost seemed like he ignited it on purpose... The bell rang, with meant it was time for an hour break. Shiftly had assigned the homework, so everyone left.

Louise strode out to the castle lawns. What to do, on this fine day?

Ayumi was interested in what her cousin was talking about, but the bell rang.
"Oh well..." she said, picking up her books, and walking into the halls.

Professor Shiftly sat at his desk in his classroom, looking at his graded papers. He grinned. "I am going to kill everyone in this school!" He exclaimed, thinking his door was closed. But no, A collegue of his, the Astromony professor, Professor Sinistra, was standing at the door. "Ruben! What are you talking about?" Sinistra reprimanded. "Ok, Aurora, I'll tell you my plans. I am a dark wizard. I am going to bring the end of the world on, and kill everyone in this school. The Sumerian god Tammuz will notice me, and come up to Earth to initiate Judgement Day!" Professor Shiftly evilly laughed. Professor Sinistra looked shocked. "And now that you know my plans, You can't live! Avada Kedavra!" He screamed, and the curse hit Sinistra, and she instantly died, with the same shocked look on her face. Her body fell, and Shiftly laugehd as he stuffed the Astromony professor's body in his closet.

Caleb went to outside of the castle to greet Louise. "Hi Louise." He sighed. "Your bothered Caleb, What is it?" Louise nagged. "Fine. Have you noticed something weird about Professor Shiftly?" He asked. "No, why?" "I think he's evil, literally evil."

Ayumi looked out and saw Caleb and Louise, and went to join them.
"Whats this about evil?" She asked, hearing Calebs last words.

"Professor Shiftly. I think he's literally evil. In Transfiguration, Instead of turning a human into an animal, the classroom burst into flames! And I saw his eyes flash red, and everytime I'm in that classroom, I feel a hotgaze burning into my back." Caleb exclaimed, but not loud enoguh for other students to hear. "I think your seeing things. He may be strict, and evil in that way to some extent, But do you really think he is literally evil?" Louise pointed out, her red hair that was tied into a bun like a flame in the sun. It was a beautiful spring day.

"Professor Sinistra! She's missing!" Caleb heard Madam Pince yell from wide open 25 feet tall door to the castle. The school librarian was talking to some students. "I have been looking all over the school for her!" She added. Caleb was surprised. Professor Sinistra was usually walking around the halls, and it wasn't hard to find her. "I wonder what that's about." Louise said while sitting in the shade of the tree.

"Missing?" Ayumi said.
"That's very odd indeed."
