undyne grinned at isaac as he took her invitation, her yellow gaze glittering with enthusiasm. though she disliked the bitter cold of snowdin, grillby's was one of her favorites, and the atmosphere was always inviting and calm. she was about to turn and lead the way, when isaac questioned her and doctor alphys's friendship. the guard blushed, her fins drooping a bit bashfully. "friends, yeah friends!! we're good friends!!!" she said loudly, the slight red tint on her cheeks vanishing as she realized her blush. "errr, c'mon, times-a-wastin'!" undyne swiveled and trudged in to the relaxed pub, swinging open the door rather forcefully and taking a seat at the bar. "hiya, grillbz," she greeted with a smile.

Lin leaped backwards in shock, but still managed to land gracefully. "Human." He growled slightly "we haven't had a human appear in years...." He paused for a second; thinking. "but I'm not the one to attack right away." He sat down and glanced at the human. Even as a cub he was longer and more muscular than the human. "Damien was it? I'll be your guide around the ruins, as long as you don't kill anyone... If you do...." He held up one paw "you'll regret it." He unsheathed his claws for a moment before putting them back. "Now come on, I'll show you around."

It all happened so fast. Frisk pushed themselves off the ground, staggering from the fall. Did they fall down the mountain? What if those legends were true? Afraid, the poor child tried climbing back up, only to trip and fall down again. Rubbing their head, the human grabbed a bandage from their pocket and placed it on their forehead.

Letting out a sigh of relief, though still a tiny bit tense from seeing the monsters claws. Damien relaxed before Lins words finally hit her "Wait, wait, wait, wait!" She said quickly "whoa.. What makes you think I would kill anyone..? Let alone hurt anyone, I mean I'm only twelve years old, still a little young to be going around and killing things..." She said a bit hurt.

Lin tilted his head "I'm not sure if age has anything to do with killing." His flaming tail waved in the air as he stood up. "Anyone can kill when they feel like it, including young children." He stretched and then turned back to Damien. "Shall we continue? I have a hunch that you fell down here by accident."

Chara raised her eyebrows. "You don't enjoy my company?" She asked, still speaking in a happy tone. "I know I enjoy yours." Her bright red eyes never left Gaster as she spoke again. "Aren't you at least happy you can talk to someone? Weren't you very lonely, being... You know, alone?"

Gaster grimaced, the child's cheerfulness beginning to unnerve him. Where they always like this? Had he just never noticed it while they were alive?
"Enjoy my company my non-existent foot. You're only looking for someone else to toy with. Sure I was lonely, but trust me, I have an extensive list of monsters I'd far rather be spending my complete and utter lack of time with."
He sighed, perhaps a little dramatically.
"But it would appear that fate has had other ideas."

I wandered onto a strange mountain. Rumors said that those who climbed the mountain never returned. "Why am I going up here?" When I took another step forward I felt the ground below me seem to disappear and I lost balance falling into a strange black hole. My screams echoing, then suddenly I hit the floor.

Petra's POV:


Though I've lived on this mountain for several moons I had never bothered to explore the strange hole that I passed by everyday of my life. Yesterday I had fallen in and now I couldn't find a way out. I walked the ruin halls, my toenails making a clacking noise against the hard, cold, stone floor.

"Well.. yeah I guess your right.." Damien looked away felling a bit stupid before returning her gaze back to Lin "Sure, why not, it's not like I really have a choice.. " she mumbled in response glancing back the way she came with a slightly worried look in her eyes.
