it always took fang a while to wake when there was no impending danger, and that day was no different. he slept half on, haf off the bed and the blanket was thrown to the other side of the room. he just sighed slightly, the sun hitting his eyes from the curtainless window. he hauled himself out of bed and got ready for the day, quietly making his way downstairs and the teenager ended up sitting on the ground in the living room, no room on the couch and not wanting to move the young bird kid already on it. besides, he really didn't mind the ground. fang wasn't the most picky person in the world. he was happy with what he had.

"Lou.." His voice was quiet, almost soft. Jaro's prying eyes had noticed how the girl had shied away from the food. The brunette wasn't stupid - he knew why she was refusing. "You should take my share, I can grab something when I'm out." The male's voice was firm, for it was almost as if his mind had made up.

"Hi Fang!" I said excitedly. It didn't take me long to wake up. "Guess what? Me and Max are gonna watch Dr.Who! Unless of course you want to watch something else. Mostly it's saturday morning cartoons, and not the cool ones for older kids, because I certainly am older, like Steven Universe or Gravity Falls or Star vs Evil, just the old cheesy ones. Like Yogi Bear and stuff. We could always check the movie channel too!" I rambled.

I finished my last bite and looked up at the two. They were obviously upset, but was it really about pancakes? I stayed quiet.

Lou paused her dish washing at Jaro's voice, she stood in silence for a moment before continuing to clean the bowl."I'm not hungry." she repeated in a much less friendlier tone, "Eat your pancakes." she said soberly, rinsing off the bowl for the last time before setting it aside to dry.

"You ate less last night too," [i'unno makin' things up for drama. we can void it, though.] Jaro commented idly, slowly shaking his head. "Really, you eat. I'm the one heading out to get more, remember? I can snarf down some chips on the way back." Pushing back his chair, the dark-haired male exited the room without another word, leaving his filled plate in his wake. Going upstairs, JJ changed quickly, opting for a more casual attire than pajamas. Wandering around in pajamas would certainly look odd. Anyways, he didn't think he looked bad, in his /slightly/ old jeans, and black/white plaid shirt.

ooc ;; i have a hard time reading it, but i can see it. i literally can't see some blues and greys hah. i know some people type in them for speech or for fun and i just " bruh what are you typing" and have to highlight or quote it. thanks for not using them Noun, i appreciate it hahaha

fang simply pulled fingers through his wet hair, attempting to dry it from his morning shower. " no nudge, it's fine. watch whatever you want." he ended up getting up from his spot to check what was in the barren cubbords and just ended up getting a glass of water, deciding he didnt want to eat anything until the kids ate anyway. his hair waas layered odd and thus felt weird while he tried to dry his hair, then heading back into the living room with his water. " we're going to need more food soon." he remarked, mostly to max. the two of them pretty much parented the whole group, really.

Still lingering at the sink, she sighed in defeat geez, he even noticed last night, she should've known better than to try to pull that off against him. Lou sat down at the table where the plate of pancakes waited for her, she looked at Seren,"Make sure he eats while you're out." she commanded, tearing a piece off and eating it. It tasted so good, she didn't think she was that hungry until she started eating.

I sigh loudly and look over to fang... seeing his black wing tips sticking out from under his shirt and I shake my head "yeah yeah I know..." I exclaim and take a sip of orange juice "we'll have to soon... where's Ig?" I asked, feeling my stomach growl and I soon stood. walking over to the balcony and watched over the large canyon... a soft wind began to buffet my blond hair and I felt a smile crack my lips as my hands grasped the railing and I imagined I was away from this and flying through the air...
