Personality: Aquiles is very social and comfortable around other people. Its easy to spot her in a crowd, as she's usually talking the loudest and fastest. She loves taking part in jokes and banter, but has a tendency to hurt feelings. Aquiles has a talent in lying and uses it to worm her way out of all kinds of situations. She loves playing and watching sports, and often spends her alone time running or kicking around a ball. She is a major thrill seeker and enjoys extreme sports and rollercoasters. She is often bored with the mundane and becomes reckless when stuck in a boring situation for too long. Her need for freedom is to such a great extent that she rarely seeks help, even when she desperately needs it. Because of this, she often gets in trouble, sometimes even in serious danger. In school, Aquiles kept her grades just high enough to keep her from getting kicked out of sports and spent most of her time in and out of detention. She was vastly uninterested in academics and preferred classes like art (granted, she's not really good at it) and gym. At camp and in battling, Aquiles is hesitant and prefers being a long range fighter to avoid getting injured.
History: Most demigods are born in North America, but because she's the daughter of the god of travelers, Aquiles was born in Spain. Her mother, Laia, was a professional soccer player and caught the attention of Hermes. When it was time for Hermes to leave, he instructed Laia to send Aquiles to America when she turned 13. Aquiles fostered a love of sports, played in a girl's soccer league, and went to all of her mom's practices and games. On her 13 birthday, Aquiles said goodbye to her mother and friends and flew by herself to California. While on the first plane from Barcelona to New York, Aquiles found a small box in her backpack, that she swore wasn't there before. Inside was a charm bracelet with a note: "I'm so proud of you, sweetheart. I will visit you soon. Love, Dad." Aquiles arrived in San Diego the next day and moved in with her grandparents. She didn't last long into her 7th grade year in the United States before being attacked by her track coach, who was actually a giant. After escaping by the skin of her teeth, Aquiles escaped and was taken to Camp Half-Blood. These days, she's a Summer camper who still lives with her grandparents for the rest of the year.
Weapon: A javelin named Cyllene that returns when thrown, and a small folding celestial bronze hunting knife.
Other: Aquiles can speak four languages, amazingly. Her brain is already hardwired for Ancient Greek, she speaks Spanish and Catalan, and learned English in school. Her javelin's mist form is a caduceus charm that she wears on her charm bracelet.
