Akane's parents were worried. They dashed through the house, calling out to all the servants of the household. Everyone came except for Akane. They became anxious. Akane's father ran from the house in search for her while Akane's mother explained to them the situation and that they must go to court to rule over the man that supposedly robbed them.
A boy in the hidden tavern glared at the fallen angel. He knew at an instant who she was, but said nothing and drank at the bar, seething through his memories. This boy was Ryzionad, son of a skilled hunter and warrior. Things had happened in his past, but those of a higher physical status made him uneasy. His mother was taken away by the Association and never seen again and his father was killed by angels and demons alike in a gory battle. He never forgave them. With his acute hearing, he listened through the door from where he sat at the counter's end.

"Ahh. Riko." A raspy voice replied from the darkness of the dimly lit room. Riko devillishly grinned. "Brythe." A elderly old man appeared from behind the desk. "Sit." He indicated with a pudgy hand. Riko sat down on a rickety chair, resting her arms on the desk. "I think I've found a Dragon Rider." She whispered to him. leaning forward. The man's eyes widened as he leaned forward, catching the voice of Riko in his ear. He leaned back, sloppily dumped in his chair. "9 drachams and 350 gold." He replied, a little louder. Riko picked at her nails, examining them. She considered the deal carefully.
((WB Dx so sorry ^^;))

(No problem ^_^)
Ryzionad narrowed his eyes a bit and slammed his cup to the counter and stood, walking quickly to the back room, through the tunnel and into the room. "Grandfather, you can't give her that much for a Dragon Rider." He said irritably. "One of the fallen shouldn't be given such a chance and I don't expect her to succeed." He continued with his eyes narrowed on Riko, his hate peircing and the look in his eyes, the Legendary Glare of Death itself, there to confirm his seriousness.

Riko hissed, eyes glowing bright red. She raised her sword alittle higher, gripping her hilt with a vice-like hold. "Think of you you're talking to, boy." She sneered, eyes slitting slowly. She stood to her full height, even though only looking around 16 years old. Her stance was proud and menacing, almost as if to say, bring it. Brythe coughed wheezily. "Now now kids. No fighting here," he warned, casually but still witha commanding tone. Riko shook back her grey flowing hair. One minute she was behind the desk, next she was behind Brythe, sword to throat. "Don't call me kid." She hissed, anger now flaring immensely.

Ryzionad used the sword he kept sheathed at his left side and disarmed Riko. "Don't threaten my family, Devil." He hissed, narrowing his eyes and putting his sword away. "He said no fighting, remember?" He said with an angered tone. He leaned against the wall, just between the small window that partially lit the room. The feeling from him excrutiating, but he wouldn't take another angel lightly.

Riko jumped from behind Brthye, landing infront of the desk. You could almost hear Brthye exhaling sharply his breath. "Always the gentleman, eh?" She said almost calmly, slowly picking up her sword. Her voice was patronizing and sarcastic. She flicked back her greyish hair in annoyance. "So," She said, turning towards Brythe, "What are you thinking? I will take up your offer." Brythe clucked a wheeze, "I need proof, Riko. Need teh see the evidence, ya get me?" Riko narrowed her eyes, pondering on his offer.

Ryzionad shut his eyes while he listened. He thought of an easy fix. "What about you catch the dragon and bring it here? It's rider is sure to come." He said, opening his eyes and watching Riko with a sharp glare from his golden eyes. He had his arms crossed over his chest as he awaited a reply. This angel... Something is different. He thought, just looking at her.

Riko narrowed her eyes, looking past Brythe's shoulder. She stood tall and proud, but shock still. Brythe nervously looked behind him. darting his head back around. The fallen angel sighed, opening her eyes wider. "I will take up your offer Brythe." She said simply, walking out of the door. Brythe chuckeled, "I give it a week Riko!" He shouted behind her. She slammed the door shut, the whole building trembling. The tavern was silent, a smoky mist clung in the air. Riko simply stepped out, into the streets as she transformed into a plain girl.

Ryzionad just smirked and left to the streets as well but went his own way so he would avoid the angel. He wanted to scour the grounds of the town for now and see if he could find any information in bars, alleys or other secret hide aways that the Assosiation was unaware of. He wanted to learn more of Riko and the rider she had mentioned if it had indeed leaked into the ears of the other hunters and rebels alike.
Evening redness washed over the town and people were already clearing the streets. Akane's parents were waiting eagerly for her return and struck with a silent worry. Mr. Sohma paced back and forth while Mrs. Sohma tapped her foot while she inspected every bit of the house to see if anything was missing. Nothing was gone. This puzzled her, then another hing came to mind. The man they found in her house didn't but up a struggle as they took him away. She finally had one of the servants, Nadia, to go and look for Akane.
Skye sat silently in the cell of the Assosiations holding cell and waited for the moon to rise so he may heal the wounds they inflicted upon him while trying to have him speak. He was chained to the wall by his wrists when he was brought to the cell, but his flesh was able to faze through the metal braces. His forearms were the most injured. Lashed by a belt to get him to confess to committing a crime, but all he would say was, "I did what I was required to." and "If anyone is at fault, it would only be me, would it not?". He was calm all the while, his hat resting on his head and his cloak still tied over his shoulders as he sat, leaning against the cell wall with bleeding arms which he rested at his side. Other men and women alike were also waiting in other individual cells. Usually yelling at this time, the air that Skye emitted seemed to frighten them, causing an uneasy silence to fall upon the prison that followed the dimming light that flowed in through the small rectangular window.

Akane was stood opposite the Association building. The front of the stone buildling stood two silent guards, quiet but deadly. The sun was setting and Akane eventually decided not to go in. She tip-toed down the path again, only to spot the house maid, Nadia. Akane smiled at her walking up to the confused woman. "Nadia?" She said, surprised. Many people were walking home to their families, the once bustling street now only scattered with people. Most of the shops were closing, slamming down their shutters as they locked their doors.
Riko idly walked around the streets, spotting the girl she saw earlier in the bakery. Deciding to ignore them, for now, see slyly edged her way around the alleyways. She ran towards her den, the hollow in the tree. Wriggling her back, she turned into demon form, leaping up onto the branch. Gripping her sword tightly, she crawled into the hole and rested her sword beside her. Riko watched the sun set in the horizon, dissappearing behind the thin line. The sky slowly lit up with twinkling stars and a crescent moon, wide and blinding. She closed her eyes sleepily, waiting for the next day.
James had sat around in hiss house all day, realising that one day he might be a fugative in the small Empire. Xaria hungrily ate strips of dried meat, tearing it off the bone. Her sapphire blue scales shined against the darkening sky. James milled about, wondering whether he should go out riding in the estate. Angel dashed about, restless. He patted her affectionately on the head, staring out from his balcony. The sky darkening and it was evening again. Curling up in her little makeshift bed, she huffed out little whiffs of smoke as she settled down. James changed into his sleeping clothes and slipped into his bed, blowing out the lit candles.
