Lore's gaze followed the man's retreat back down the hallway through the open door. Her mind tried to make sense of what he had just told her. Mission? What's a mission? the thoughts ran through her head over and over again. She thought she had heard the name Hayden before, though she wasn't sure where or when. Pushing her confused thoughts out of the way and forced herself to walk quickly out the still ajar door. Outside she looked around, becoming a little nervous when she couldn't spot the man. A clomping noise echoed back down the hallway from the way she thought she had seen him leave. It took her a moment but then she realized it must be the echo of his shoes. How is he in an importent facility if he can't even walk at a normal volume? She fleetingly thought to herself as she hurried after the echos. She came to a stop at the crossing ahead of her. Looking in both direction she thought she glimpsed something black flitting around the corner and chose that direction. As she trotted down the corridor she steadily slowed down. Her energy was almost completly gone. The echos of the mans foot steps had faded aswell with a screech. She urged herself onward and her sweaty foot slipped on the polished merble floor sending her sprawling onto her ankle. She sat in the abandoned hallway and desperatly tried to hold back the tears from coming. There was no way she would be ontime. Hoping the new liquid would just mix in with the rest of the perspiration covering her face she pushed herself up and limped onward. Her right ankle kept sending screaming messages of pain through her nerves and it took an effort to place any weight on it without collapsing again. Stumbling she reached the end of the corridor. She looked around the corner and was almost relieved to see doors along this hallway. She balanced on her left leg and gave her right ankle a minutes rest. She figures a minutes additional lateness wouldn't make that much difference at this point. She crept onward and was relieved when the second door had a plaque. Blinking to get the sweat and tears out of her eyes she read 'Mr. Hayden'. There was smaller script below it but she didn't bother to make out what it said. Pausing a moment to straighten her tangled clothes and smooth down the wisps of flying hair she knocked quietly on the door.

Name: Lee Galisavian

Appearance:


History: Lee was born and raised in the Dark Alliance, with his mentors immedietly deciding his future as a perfect assasin. Throughout his entire childhood, Lee was put through brutal training, though it all paid off in the end. Now, at the age of sixteen, Lee has become one of the most valueable assasins in the Dark Alliance. Lee lives a small, modest room in one of the Dark Alliance's buildings.

Personality: Lee has become rather full of himself from what he has accomplished, making him a somewhat aggrogant and deadly subject. He is rather cruel and heartless, doing what others tell him only if he agrees with the situation. Lee has a cool mentality, making him unfriendly and untrusting. He will kill you when he is told.

Alliance: The Dark Alliance.

Powers:

1– Lee almost never misses when he has a gun in his hands. (This, of course, is just a knack of skill. Nothing to do with a power; but I just thought I should put it here.)

Just remember that Dark Alliance members may not have powers, and that they may be antagonist characters only, meaning that they have to always be 'the bad guys'. [Note that silver--mane has my permission to bend this rule due to the twist idea that we have discussed.] I'm just worried that you might feel a little left out if you only have an antagonist character... Dee had kept quiet folding her arms lightly across her chest, in front of the others she felt uncomfortable causing her to shift her weight to her other foot looking at the large arm band covering the large claw marks she had kept a secret. Her lips twitched slightly into a very small smile but it wasn’t one of happiness but more or less laughter in its own way. Mineral control, the boy had said. Dee thought that her power had control over her instead, making her life a misery. Then the boy said that he wanted to assist them, the rebels, to rebel against the Dark Alliance. Dee once again shifted her weight to her other foot, she never communicated with anyone her. Keeping to herself avoiding them at all cost partly she didn’t want to be the death of them, or anyone. It wasn’t in her nature to kill, good or bad, normal or different. Fighting she could handle, if it was completely necessary. But the thought of rebelling against the Dark Alliance made her confidence drop, compared to the others here she felt useless. Even changing into a gas or liquid seemed useless. Dee looked up slightly looking in-between the two boys and the other girl, she didn’t speak but that would probably make them assume that she was mute. She waited patiently for the Russian to answer wondering what his answer would be, while she did wonder she considered leaving but decided against it.

((When did you last post, and where was your character? Not much has happened - just a few people sort of gathered around where my character was hiding, and now they are having some form of tense discussion... ))

"Enter." A cold voice called as the man named Hayden shifted in his chair, his sharp eyes peering over the top of his glasses to lock onto the doorknob. It should be the girl, Lore, the one they had chosen... She was late. He clenched his jaw in annoyance at this thought, then dropped his eyes to the papers before him once more. It would be best not to lose his cool... After all, this was a very important mission, and the Dark Alliance needed her. More importantly, they needed her undying loyalty. One small slip-up, and all could be lost. He jotted down a few notes on the paper before him, the end of his pen making a soft scratching sound against the smooth surface of the paper. He stared down at the sharp contrast between the dark ink and the pale paper, his glasses turning opaque with reflections as the light his them. "Lore Maxim, Age 14, Special recruit." He raised his eyes and looked around the room, thinking carefully. They were lucky to have found her... Before she joined the Rebels. It seemed that their kind were drawn together by some arcane, invisible force. Perhaps held together like the planets of the solar system... It was difficult to take one down, even for the Alliance, what with these strange powers they had... But Lore, she was perfect for this mission. The alliance had raised and trained Kougu, after all. They knew everything about him. Every strength, and every weakness... The biggest, of course, being his stamina. He had been locked up all his life after all, never allowed to leave Dark Alliance premises. It made sense that he would have little, if any, fitness. That was where Lore came in... He would be exhausted from his flight. With her increased agility, she ought to be able to catch up with him quickly. If she managed to find him, and was able to drain his energy, the mission would be a success; he was sure of it. However, the mission was likely to be risky, and Lore was still a novice in the Dark Alliance ranks. She ought not to be sent on such an important mission... Yet she was certainly the best man, or in this case, the best girl for the job. Hayden released his breath with a sigh, then glanced over to the door again and waited for the girl to enter. He only hoped that the Alliance could count on her... This mission simply had to be a success. Failure was not an option.

(Back -- I apologize of the absense. I edited the powers to Lee and just noted his sharp-shooting skills as a knack and not a power. I deleted the Ivisibility power. On the one charrie thing -- I usually use one character when I'm RPing, always because I just wind up dropping the second one a attempt to make and just use one. So that's how I did it in Survivors Of War and such, to prevent confusion. ^^;)
(Oh dear! Is it my strange presence that's preventing people from posting? I'll do that right away.)

Lee stalked along the cold corridors of the Dark Alliance, his cold eyes narrowed into slits. The Leader...He derserves a piece of my mind. The young teen turned a sharp left, nearly walking into a short, fat man with a mound of papers piled up on his trembling hands. "You!" He snarled, making the pugdy man jump and squeak in surprise, almost knocking down all of his papers. "Y-yes?" He wavered, looking strait up at Lee. Lee glowered down on the man, easily almost two feet taller than him. "Where is the Leader? Or the director? I need to speak to him." He growled, softening up slightly. "Where is he?" The fat man trembled. "I-I don't know! His location is kept secret!" Lee snarled to himself and shoved past the fat man, spilling his papers into the air and sending them flying all over the stone corridor. "Damn it!" He growled, his temper reaching It's high. Lee neeed this man...For a certain reason. To most, he was known as the Director, the Leader, or something else. All Lee knew was that he hadn't been on a mission in almost two months, and that he needed one now.
