Joey walked along the street, having absolutely nothing to do. He didn't have a summer job, so he didn't have any money. And his parents weren't going to give him money. He figured it was just one of those things that happen when you're eighteen. Your parents aren't going to support you as much as when you were younger.

Disarrae walke down the street very bored out of her mind. She grabbed her phone outf her pocket and started to listen to music.

Hearing Travis come up behind her Kristal immediately stopped humming, she didn't consider herself a good singer and by all rights she was average this along with her low self esteem kept her silent as the grave around others. Returning his smile with a small one of her own she said "nice to meet you Travis, I'm Kristal." extending her hand towards his her smile spread a bit more "but you can call me Kriss."

Joey pulled his phone out of his pocket, checking for texts. Of course, he didn't have any. Travis was probably at work, Max was probably at the beach and Cole was probably still sleeping. Travis, Max and Cole were his best friends and they had been since they were all in diapers. And he didn't have a girlfriend, either. So he was most likely spending his summer alone.

Joey continued walking, still gazing down at his phone. Not noticing that a girl (Disarrae) was right in front of him, he bumped into her. "Oh, sorry." He said as he looked up from his phone.

Travis shook Kristal's hand, "Nice to meet you too, Kriss." He had heard a small bit of her humming, "Y'know, your a pretty good hummer...err, not like the truck." He laughed after he pointed that out, he said the stupidest things sometimes.
