Elwood watched everything with careful blue eyes. He didn't want to miss anything; especially anything that was important. Seeing a boy collapse made him nearly jump back in suprise, however it seemed nobody had noticed it. He nearly whimpered afraid of this, what had happened to the boy? His eyes were locked on Orion as he finally stood up. Elwood sighed in relief realizing he was fine, what if he hadn't been? Well, Elwood probably would have stood frozen in place from fear. Though everything seemed to be fine. That was about the time Elwood realized there was something thumping against his leg, he realized that it was only his dog's tail. Apparently the service dog was quite excited about the crowd of people, as he always loved attention and these people looked like they might give him a pat on his head. He sighed a bit before allowing his blue eyes to drift around the room. Each of these girls were beautiful (then again Elwood thought any female was beautiful no matter what she looked like), and all the males were handsome. They all seemed like normal people, well they looked normal. Elwood was sure he was no where near as handsome as the other males, and that made him feel like he didn't fit in. He shook his head and glanced once more, noting a bright red haired girl and a brunette boy, a blonde girl, a ginger haired female, and that Dillon had moved towards a boy in the corner.

"Well, my name is Noah. Nice to meet ya." He told her, his small smile blossomed into a grin. The boy loved meeting new people and making friends. It was a fun, interesting thing to do and he surely had do problem doing it. He took the time to observe the girl. The boy couldn't help but wonder which ability that she could possess. The blazing fire that is her hair made him automatically think of flames. Maybe her ability had something to do with fire? It was likely but Noah knew that looks can be very deceiving at times. He did endure four years of high school after all. It didn't take very long for him to learn that lesson. So he would usually try not to judge someone by their appearance. Noah being a shapeshifter; it was a bit hard for someone to spontaneously think about changing into animals when they look at him. He just looked like a regular boy. But then again, everybody in that room had some sort of ability. Maybe there was another shapeshifter there so he wouldn't have to be alone. He was probably expecting too much since there were only about eleven others that arrived, but Noah could always hope.

He let his eyes dart around the lobby. But instead of surveying the decor, he was observing the people this time. All of them were... normal, like regular people he would see as he walk down a street. Noah didn't know what he was expecting when he came here. He surely didn't think that they were mutants. Actually they were quite the opposite. They were all quite good-looking. He couldn't help but feel that this was a nice change from regular collage classes that he always goes to. It made him feel less like an outcast.

After only a few moments the effects of the car ride and the airplane ride took effect and caused Elwood to fidget. When would they be allowed to use the restroom? Surely he wasn't the only one that had to go, they had all been riding for some time. He bit his lip and continued to squirm until Squid realized that he had to go to the bathroom. This was one of the things he had been trained for, as if Elwood was somewhere where it was mandatory for him to ask to go to the bathroom, Squid would have to help Elwood ask due to the fact Elwood was quite shy. Apparently, at that moment Squid apparently thought Dillon was in charge around here so he began to walk towards the blonde girl and pull Elwood along behind him, figuratively speaking. Elwood was walking hesitantly behind him unsure of what his dog was doing. That was until he realized he had been brought to the girl he had noticed earlier. After a few seconds of staring blankly unsure of what to say, as talking to females seemed to always make his stuttering problem worse. Squid wagged his tail as he stared up at Dillon with warm brown eyes. The service dog had always loved getting attention, especially from female humans. Finally Elwood forced himself to speak up as his bladder had become too much for him to bear; "E-e-ex-excuse m-me, miss? I r-really have to u-uh.. err.. ermm.." Elwood was unsure of how to explain to her he needed to go. Everything just sounded so vulgar in his mind, and Elwood was not the type of person who would say anything vulgar to a lady. Elwood continued to try to hold it as he looked at the girl hoping his fidgeting would finish his sentence.

Dillon had eventually walked away from the man in the corner. She had returned by Leo's side. It was not time for introductions yet, as not all of the recruits had arrived. But most of them had. She was facing Leonardo, her back to the others. She suddenly turned, hearing the pitter of claws of the floor. The moment she saw Squid, she jumped. She had a great fear of dogs. There was a reason for it, yes. But it is not something she liked to tell. So, not wanting to appear rude, she looked up at the tall man in front of her and smiled. The emotions coming off of him were in waves. Nervous. And something else. She could not tell what it was. Not until he spoke that is. Awh. He studders. One of her old friends used to studder. So hearing the guy talk made her think of home. Looking at him with curiousity, she figured out what he was saying. Restroom. Ahh. Yes. That explained the fidgeting."Bathroom? Right this way." Giving him another friendly smile, she sidestepped away from squid and grabbed Elwoods hand. She then proceeded to lead him up the stairs. Careful not to touch the dog.

Once they reached the top, Dillon led him down the hallway. Passing Orions room. "Orion. Leo says to get your lazy butt downstairs. Introductions will be made soon. And you don't want to make him mad like the last time." She shot over her shoulder. A grunt in response came out, but no human shape followed in going out the door. Looking back at Elwood, she smiled. "This is the closest bathroom. The others downstairs are father away." With another friendly grin, she stopped at a door. Letting go of his hand, she opened it up and pushed it open."I'll wait out here for you. Just so you don't get lost when your finished."

Elwood nearly mimicked her jump as her jump had scared him. He then realized it either had something to do with how tall he was, as he had often made people jump do to his height, or something to do with the border collie who was standing a bit confused next to him. Elwood nodded when she asked if he needed to go to the bathroom, then he fidgeted once more and noticed she had sidestepped his dog. Perhaps she was aftaid of dogs? He'd met people like that before. However if she was going to be around him a lot she would need to get used to it. Feeling her smaller hand touch his he couldn't help but allow a slight blush to appear on his face, even if it was only a friendly gesture he couldn't help it. A girl, technically, holding his han hand was something that had only happened once or twice in his life time. Romantic or not. Squid tried his best to get as close to Dillon as possible as they walked, due to the fact Squid already liked her as he liked everyone.

When they passed the male who had fainted's (or whatever Elwood didn't know what had happened) room, he continued to walk a bit nervously as he was unsure of the relationship the two had. If she was his girlfriend, he seemed like the type who wouldn't hesitate to kick Elwood's ass just for looking at her, let alone basically holding her hand. He decided he shouldn't ask, that's their private business. Elwood did however hope they weren't, not because he was developing a crush on Dillon, but because he didn't want to get hurt by the other male. When they reached the bathroom, he didn't say a word, but he did thrust Squid's dark blue leash into Dillon's hand and rush into the bathroom. Normally Squid would go into public restrooms with Elwood, to make sure he did basic things such as washing his hands or zipping up his fly, but Elwood didn't want Dillon to know of his disabilities. Squid once more stared up at Dillon with his warm chocolatey colored eyes with his tail basically thumping the ground in joy. He looked at her expectantly for a pat on the head.

A few moments later the twenty year old stepped from the restroom. His hands were washed and his jeans were buttoned. He had forgotten one thing though. Elwood's fly was unzipped. A whimper from Squid made him look his body over trying to see what he had forgotten. Seeing the zipper down, Elwood blushed brightly and quickly pulled it up hoping Dillon had not noticed. "Th-Thank y-you, miss. I f-feel a lot bett-better now." He told her with a nod and holding out his hand to take Squid's leash back if she would like to give it to him.-

Dillon had sensed a small wave of fear, when she spoke to Orion. It seemed to come from the man she was walking with. Was he afraid of him? Yeah, Orion was big. But she had never seen him hurt anyone. Well aside from hurting them with words. Maybe he thought they were together or something? And he didn't want to ruin it? She was tempted to say something about it, but decided not to. Orion was a stick in the mud, who always messed up everything. And she did not want to pass up the chance on making another friend. Friends were good to have. With out them, life can be hard.

Before he went in, he had thrusted the leash into her hand. Dillon looked at the dog, eyes widened. Before she could say anything, he shut the door. Damn. Looking down at the collie, she smiled slightly. With her other hand, she reached down and stroked the top of its head. It was soft and silky. Her hand pulled away quickly when the door opened again. "As cute as Miss is, call me Dillon, hon. And its no problem! Just come to me if you ever need anything." Giving him a smile, she handed over Squids leash. Looking over her shoulder, she saw Orion standing in the doorway staring at her and the dog. She shot him a glare. "What? Can't you just go back to your brooding or something? Unlike you, I can actually make friends. And Be nice." Rolling her eyes, she grabbed Elwoods hand again and started to head towards the stairs. When she passed Orion, she herd a familiar snort. He always did that. It was rather annoying too. Looking to Elwood, she offered another grin. "Sorry about him. Even after 5 years of being in this place together, we aren't even close to friends. Best to just avoid him."
