Helicopter blades spin rapidly as they take off from the ground, leaving the contestants of The Challenges on the Boreal Forest floor. Everything was in place, the contestants lay on the ground, unaware of everything that had just taken place. Their parents now think they are dead, they have no life to go back to, they only have one motive, to survive.
"Welcome Contestants!" The announcer yelled into his microphone, which blasted into all the speakers of the forest. He hoped that would wake all of them up, so they could finally start the games after so many hours of waiting.

15 Years of Age / Single / Red-Tailed Hawk / Confused

Luke lay on the ground, sticks and stones now trying to pierce his skin as he just laid motionless on the ground. The announcer's voice pounded into his head, as if his hearing was a million times stronger. It gave him a headache, he didn't want to get up, just lay there. "Two more minutes mom..." He seemed to say quietly, hoping he could just stay on the ground. His whole body hurt, as if everything was broken and then put back together again, he felt horrible.

(I'll play the announcer when I need to say something to the contestants. We can all finally start now! )

Tony woke up with a start at the blaring voice all around him. He felt something fluffy brush his hand and jerked it away. Soon he realized the furry thing was a tail; a wispy gray canine tail. He found out with shock that it wasn't just any tail, it was his tail. It was attached to his body. He gasped and realized that this must be the Challenges.

Adalinda Tanith / Paradise Flying Tree Snake /Seventeen

The words ‘Welcome contestants!’ blared across the land, causing Adalinda to flinch slightly as her hands went up to cover her ears. She opened her eyes warily, squinting at the most, as she tried to understand what was going on. Little rocks and twigs dug into her skin, and her clothing had acquired a thin layer of dirt. She laid there a moment, utterly confused, before shooting up into a sitting position.

The Challenges.

All of it came back to her, those frightening man-animals, and then the people with the needles,. Just the thought of it made her shiver slightly. She huddled her knees to her chest, and looked around, a glint of light catching her attention. Looking down to the source, she was confused a moment before noticing that there was something wrong with her arms. They were… scalely.
She gave a small shriek, rushing onto her two feet and rolling up her clothing, trying to examine everything wrong. This could not be happening! How could they change her into such a thing? A monster like them?
