Brendan stopped having a silent fit once she said "thank-you" to him.
He heard Taya snigger quietly beside him, reading her textbook, her fist clamped over to mouth to stop from laughing.
"Are you kidding me?!" he pronounced to Paige. (( Brendan is like Hermione in Book 3, he thinks Trelawnley is a looney bag xD )) He looked up at Professor Trelawnley and lowered his voice. "She's not that bad? She likes to say at least one person will die each year. Did you know that was Harry way back? Well, he's still alive! Oh my God, I don't even know why I took this subject." he flipped throught he pages. "I've already read all this anyways during the summertime."
"It's true, he did." piped in Taya. "But you know, Brendan, mum and dad wanted us to take all the same subjects. So, just get on with it. It's gonna be over soon." she patted his back.
"Yeah, yeah." he slouched back into his chair and glared at Trelawnley. "I'll make a bet with you, Paige. If Trelawnley predicts the death of... me, you owe me 2 Galleons. If not, I owe you 2 Galleons. Deal?" he held out his hand for a shake.

Taya laughed, shaking her head. Oh, Brendan, she thought to herself.

After trying not to burst out laughing in the middle of class she turned back to look at Trelawney then back at Brendan. "You got your self deal." She ginned and shook his hand. "Before you know it I'll be two galleons richer."

Brendan shook her hand back, then released. He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? I think you mean that I will be 2 Galleons richer. Classic mix-up." he winked, leaning back in his chair. If Trelawney asked him questions on Horoscopes, he'd be ab able to answer them all.
