Shiro stared intently on the pictured and picked one up. She stared at the burnt male body in the picture, ignoring Claude. The girl gasped and slammed the picture down, bowing to the Elder Demon and Alois. "I will be back. With an answer!" She says and started to storm out of the study. Shiro had caught an idea in her head, and she wanted to go to the library to prove it.

"and right you are little one - that's why they use the pretty red apples to make those sweet crunchy apples at the carnivals ~" he smiled happily down to her." He then led her to the counter with the shop keeper and he pulled out a small sack of coin's. "hello Edward, doing well?" he asked as he counted the coins. "Aie ... though that day is commin' up again." the heavy, balding man replied in a deep, almost fisherman's voice. "Right you are ... i would like you to give this to Abigail." he said simply, handing the man a very small letter that seemed to be weighted by something on the inside. He then gave the man the coins to pay for the apple. "And here's for the apple. Rest easy Edward ... i know your heart is still weak from that attack a few months back, but im sure you're getting better, tata~" he said lightheartedly, though his tone also held a bit of something more. He then led the girl out of the shop, taking the small coin sack and pouring out half of it into his hand, putting the bag away and holding the coins out to the little girl. "here you are dear, some coin in case you see anything else you like when heading home." he smiled.

The girl grinned and hugged Lucius' legs, thanking him over and over and going off, skipping all the way. She turned just before she founded a corner, waved to the two. Then, she was gone. Kaii mustered up another smile, but it dropped quickly as she studied her palms. "Cute girl," she said as nonchalantly as she could. "Reminds me of one I used to know."

As he stood up straight, he fixed his tie, back to Kaiiyen. "tell me ... my lady ... your voice seems down, is something the matter?" he asked, now fixing his glove, glancing over his shoulder to her, eyes slightly narrowed, as if in thought about something.

Kaii gave a one shouldered shrug, looking at the area where the girl had turned the corner and left. "She just reminds me of my own kid is all. She's with her dad," she said plainly, studying her nails as if they were talking about the weather. She looked at him, making eye contact a brief moment. "What's more to be said?"

He soon fixed his other glove, stopping as he pulled the bottom of it slightly, eyes narrowed. "i see ... do you miss them?" he asked, now dusting his suit after he finished fixing his glove. He kept his back to her, taking out a very small pocket watch and clicking it open. He glanced at his reflection in the small round top of the watch, his eyes an emerald and jade green for a moment before he wiped over his eyes with a handkerchief, blinking his eyes open to be a blueish grey again. He closed the watch and soon turned around to face her. "funny how we've only met a few hours ago and already it would seem like we known each other for much longer." he chuckled warmly.

Kaii answered the latter comment first. "Ah; well; you seem like a trustable person," she said. Then she bit her lip a moment, putting on her own gloves and flexing her fingers. "Well, as much as one could possibly miss the dead," she said as plaintively as possible. She thanked the good Lord that he had his back turned to her, so he wouldn't see that her face was not emotionless, or pulled up in its sarcastic smirk. She looked melancholy. "But nevertheless," she said, putting on the emotionless expression once more. "The dead are dead. The living are living. The past is past."

Mar shrugged, glancing around at his men who all seemed to have an ear in the conversation. "I do not care, in honesty. If they wish for pleasure and you offer it, may as well." He said blankly, opening the car door and stepping aside for Sara. "After you."

Harlequine stood and looked down at the girl with craving eyes "half demon, yet her human soul is so prominent..." she mumbled and turned around "I am too hungry.."

((annnnd Claude's family dragged him to utah, so he has zero communication until sunday night, and he starts his new job on monday.))

"my dear lady, no matter how hard you try, the sounds of welling tears is more louder then your empty words ... you miss them, don't you?" he said simply, now looking up toward the sky, having felt a raindrop. "... if you wish and we are able, we can visit their grave before continuing forward with our plans ..." he said simply.

The girl stirred a bit in her sleep now, but only to switch to lay on her back now as she slept. Her sleep was getting lighter now as she felt less tired, but would still sleep for about another hour or so, give or take.
