Ren couldn't help his temper. "If you love him so much then why don't you just go to live with him!" He snapped. "But I'm not going to let my flock be in danger because your mooning over a mangy mutt!" Ren turned on his heel, walking towards Athena.

Ren's words made me flinch as if I'd been punched in the gut. Taking a step away from Storm, I turned and looked at Ren with hurt and betrayal clear on my face. "I apologize for being happy with someone." I'd grown so used to having his support that when it was withdrawn, I felt empty. As I always did when faced with too many problems, I snapped my wings open and shot off into the clouds wanting to throw my problems to the wind.

And with that Athena's jaw just about dropped to the ground as Ren walked over to her. she could tell he as hurt on the inside, "Ren-" she cut herself off. Leaving yet another flock member behind?! The flock really was falling apart.

Storm watched as Jinx shot into the clouds knowing that given the chance Ren would probably beat him to a pulp.

Ren kept his head down with his hands in his pockets. "We'll find Knight and Riley on our own." He murmured quietly to Athena, afraid if he raised his tone his voice would break. "Come on." Ren hated leaving Jinx. He wanted to fly up after her and apologize. But his heart said one thing and his head said another.

Knowing that allowing petty emotions to get in the way of saving Riley and Knight was stupid, I dropped out of the sky and finally landed with no expression anywhere on my body. The best thing I could do for now, was remain void of emotion. "Hiro can't fight. What are we going to do about that?"

Ren wanted to scream and punch something, preferably Storm. He took a deep, shaky breath and tried to keep himself from breaking down. "Nobodies going to get hurt. We're going to be fine. I know what I'm doing." He said, sounding more like he was trying to convince himself then her. What he really wanted to say was 'Jinx, your not helping. Stressing me out isnt going to help. Now, right now, I'm sleepy and ticked and don't feel like handling your new furry boyfriend, so back off before I hit you.'
