Codi did what younger kids did, and started to lick his hand. She didnt care about germs. She licked it, and then bit it.

"Duh. Thats how you handle someone covering your mouth." she said. "And your my problem. If you would'nt of heard my secret, or shot a spell back. You could of just said, 'bad time?' and left. You didnt have to fight back." she said and then stood up. "PROFESOR ADAMS!" she shreiked.

"Maybe I should just tell her that you're a Parselmouth. That would get her interest, huh?" he threatened. "You never know if some Veritaserum might find it's way into your drink."

Codi stared. "Professor Dumbledore would'nt let anybody harm me." she said and stared at him. Then she almost gasped when he said he would put that in her drink! She would be very very cautious of what was in her drink now. "You dont have any Veritaserum." she said to him.

"They sell it in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. I could easily get it from Snape's stores." he answered.

"Well, you dont have any right now." she said and looked at him. She knew he would'nt put any Veritaserum in her drink.
