Shilah chuckled. Just be patient Amber. I'm sure you'll be eating soon. He was smiling, but it didn't reach his eyes. His eyes remained calm and cold. He assessed Amber, watching her very carefully, listening to her tone of voice. And most importantly, watching her eyes and body language.

Amber rubbed her wrist, cursing herself for not grabbing a ponytail on her way out. She counted to two hundred before she got her food. She looked at them awkwardly when they did not charge her for it, but took it anyway. She took a few steps before realizing she hadn't made any friends and most likely had to sit with strangers. That usually didn't end well. She told herself she wasn't a people person. She sits at a table with another person.

Personality:
Alex is pretty easy going. He tends to make friends easily, and he's pretty trustworthy. He is a bit of a trouble maker, but he easily worms his way out of most punishments. Also, he's extremely loyal to his friends, and a bit over-protective. He doesn't like people messing with his friends.
History:
Alex grew up with his brother and parents in a small cabin off in the woods. The family kept to themselves, only leaving to go grocery shopping. The brothers were even homeschooled. They lived a pretty sheltered life, without much technology besides a home phone. Everything went pretty great until Alex's powers manifested. Then his parents shipped him and his brother, who had also developed powers, off to the school.

Personality:
Unlike his brother, Jerem is pretty serious. He gets nervous around lots of people, and tends to stutter. He's not good with crowds, and has few friends. However, like Alex, he's extremely protective, and can take care of himself when he needs to. He's also loyal to a fault, but has a harder time trusting others.
History:
Jerem and Alex have always been close, mostly because no one else was around. Still, when Jerem's powers developed, he worked hard to keep it a secret, even from Alex. He managed to keep it quiet until Alex's powers developed, but then his parents started noticing things. Finally they confronted him about it, and he admitted to having special abilities. Then he was shipped off to the school with Alex.
