Her mouth gaping open after the man that had just walked off like they were mere bugs stuck to a windshield; Z pursed her lips and ground her teeth together. Nobody breezed past her without getting a sword stuck somewhere. That including whoever this man was. If he though that he could just waltz around on this turf without getting knocked off his rocker, then he was dead wrong. A slight lift in the corner of her lips gave away her amusement. When she started to run again, her semi-bare legs trying to catch up to the man, Z spotted an auto-maton getting rough with Alec. She had to dig her heels into the ground in order to stop running. Time seemed to stand still as her eyes raked across the machine, then quickly flittered back to the man. He was already gone. "[censored]," She breathed the word out breathlessly, eyes hardened again with hate. Everyone back at home would know if she were to fail then this mission would be done for. The government would win and everything that they had worked for would be tossed out the window.
The wings that were sprouted from her ankles twitched slightly, the feathers ruffling outwards from her skin. She concentrated, swordtip inches from the ground, eyes shut softly. A wrinkle appeared across her forehead as if she was deep in thought. Again the pure white wings ruffled, and this time they seemed to flap like a birds might. Her ears twitched delicately, and soon she was airborn. The whole of her frame was off the ground in a matter of seconds. She lifted her sword as her eyes shot open, a reflexion of the clouds in the air. "Move!" Z shouted the word to the boy, hoping that he would move so she didn't end up killing him too. This day was already a reck, so having another person die didn't really bother her too much. She spun towards Alec and the Auto that was holding something at him, pointing it rather artistically at his heart.
After spins and twirls the heel of her furry boot finally made contact against the auto-maton's hard outside. One foot struck it's power core, the other slammed down onto the slim gun about to be fired at the one she was to protect. A ruckus of bullets being fired and wires being slapped and imploded made her hands fly to her delicate ears. They weren't as built up as human's, the slightest high pitched vibration could cause her to go deaf for months. Right now they were ringing badly enough that she couldn't think or see straight. She dimly saw that Alec had grabbed her sword and was moving on to a different robot. All she could do was float there, three feet off the ground, both hands wrapped protectivelly around her ears. How much of a wuss was she?

Alec had decided he didn't like that chick. Didn't like her one bit. She tried to save him even if he didn't need saved, and then got hurt somehow. She was aweful. Trial and error for sure, huh? He snorted in between swinging her sleek sword. The weapon was the only thing he even remotely liked about her. It was thin and flexible, easy to manouver to. He could she why she used it so freely now. He sprung into action, dodging from splashes of gun-fire aimed for his arms and legs, and ran from all machines throwing various things at him. Everywere he turned it seemed that someone was trying to kill him. How were they going to survive this? It wasn't like they could just blast through the botes-
He quickly changed his line of direction and headed straight on for one of the three auto-maton's trying to kill him and the girl. If they were coming to him, why couldn't they just kill each other? Alec leape into the air and landed squarely on a bot's metal shoulders. He knew were they held their weapons and attack guns. The head, arms, and legs. The shoulders seemed to be the only spot free that didn't have something sticking out from it. Where had that girl hit it again? Wasn't it somewhere around where the heart should be? His heart started to beat faster as he realized he didn't know what he needed to do. That girl had been the one to destroy the first one, how was he suppose to kill these things?
Panicking, the fire running through his system seemed to respond. Flames gently licked at his hands ands arms, spreading fastly across the expanse of his body until he was covered in a thin trail of them. "What do I do?" Alec shouted to the Raven haired girl, hoping she could still help him from where she stood- hovered in the air. He wasn't even sure how she could fly or float, but it seemed to be her power. Somehow.
"Heart!" A squeaky, aussy accent made him wince. Why on earth was she acting so weak suddenly? She was the one who had saved him in the first place, shouldn't she be killing these things off instead of him? He grew even more frustrated at her as he rammed the sword into the machine's frame work with all his might.
