Faulonor was quite nervous as he followed Duviyn down the alleys. It wasn't like someone was going to jump out and murder them both, or something, but this city just seemed to emit a sense of evil. The elf's ears twitched when the man said "half-decent." Poor fool has no idea just how not "Half-decent" he is.

"Temper, temper," Za'ji chided, waving a finger as one would at a disobedient child. "You won't get anything out of me that way. Come on, use your imagination: what would get a hardened, cold blooded assassin like me to spill her guts to you. I'll give you a hint: there's only one thing, and you'll never figure it out. Torture me all you want, I won't snitch on your family."

Kanji thought in silence for a moment, weighing her options. A werewolf would no doubt be an asset when combating the Dwemer defenses, but at the same time, she couldn't be sure the rest of them wouldn't wake up with their throats torn out. "If you want to follow us," she said after a lengthy internal dialogue, " Then I won't stop you. But be warned, I've got my eye on you. Metaphorically speaking, anyway. You so much as make a move at one of us, and I'll slice you up like a loaf of bread."

She grinned, a werewolf was a good aset to have, and true, there is a large chance that she could rip their throats out. But... that wasn't any fun. "Wise choice, but, as I have said, I have no wish for blood shed... unless it's the enemy," she paused as her stomach growled "plus, I can hunt for dinner."

Thrush raised both of her eyebrows in shock. This... animal... was going to travel with them, wonderful. Well, no matter, the elf supposed. The werewolf did have a point- she could hunt for dinner, and maybe keep watch when the others were busy... "Well, I suppose it's nice to have you on board." Thrush said. She tried to keep her voice sounding up-beat, but the elf was sure there were major hints of fear in her voice.

She smiled slightly. "So, what do you guys want for dinner." she asked with a wolfish grin.

"Don't call yourselves my family." Auguseethus growled. "You could never be that. We're as far as night and day. Cold-hearted, bloodthirsty killers versus those who protect the emperor and his people."
Auguseethus took a deep breath and put a hand on one of his horns. He tried to calm himself down but couldn't.
"I'll be back." He said and walked out of the building. August rubbed his forehead and began to pace back and fourth. How could he get the cat to spill? The first step would probably get her to take him seriously and not just treat him like an idiot with a temper.

Duviyn Varo nudged the man's, Palidir was it?, shoulder and pointed
to a sign painted with pastels. "That's the place. If you want I can
probably get the lady to offer you a high price for your glass." He
offered and waved a hand at the leather pouch. "We do business
occasionally, usually when I have a commission for a glass blade or
armor but there are other times," he explained and came to a stop
in front of the store.

Za'ji simply chuckled quietly to herself, leaning back in her chair and soaking in the glares the other Oculatus Agents directed at her she never would have guessed that this was Aurelus' brother, the two were so very different. She knew he'd have no problem using any means necessary to get information out of her, yet Auguseethus seemed almost reluctant to harm her. Still, it was fun to watch him squirm, struggling with his pathetic sense of morality. She did hope someone would get the idea of using magic of some kind on her, that way she'd have something to pretend to be afraid of.

Faulonor smirked. "A deal? Well, I suppose that would be nice." he spoke. He stopped in front of the store, just behind Duviyn. Faulonor was a little curious what those 'other times' were, but he decided not to start some sort of argument, or something, again. Besides. A deal was something the elf just couldn't pass up.

Thrush nervously eyes the wolf. "Meat, I guess." she spoke sheepishly. yeah, no, Thrush didn't think she would ever get used to a werewolf traveling buddy.
