"Grass?" I ask "trees?, Vines?" I say. I stop and run back to where he is. i put my arm over and under his and hold him up a bit "I forgot, and I was kidding about eye spy" I laugh

[ Jake ]

I smile. "Uh huh. What do you want to do then?" I lean on her gently, not willing to topple her over.

WB... sorry!

Nicole;
I grin "What do you want to do?" i ask
WB aswell
(topple me over? I'm offended *sarcasm*)

[city;]

[ Jake ]

We arrive at the hole. "I don't know," I say. I sit on the edge, not ready to slide in yet. "What should we do?" I pick up a piece of grass, and fiddle with it, tying it in knots and then breaking it.

Nicole:
I hear a sound an push him down the hole. Maybe I hurt him but it's better then getting killed. I duck in after him and grab my bow. I point it up through the hole and train it at a boy.

[city;]

[ Jake ]

I swear as I painfully land on my leg. "What was that for? That really hurt!" I yelp up at her. I see that her bow is drawn and she's very tense. "What is it?" I suddenly whisper.

Nicole:
"A boy" I whisper back, then fall quiet.

Nicole:
I fire, My arrow only grazes his side because I twisted my leg right when i released the arrow. He turns, leaning funny on his side. He jumps behind a tree and throws a spear towards us. It hits me in the arm but I ignore it the best I can and instead note he only has one spear left. I climb out of the hole and aim an arrow at him. He throws the spear and I release my arrow. It all happens at the same time and I don't have time to process it. The spear hits me in the arm again and a fall to the round. I hold my arm to my chest and slowly crawl forward, towards the boy. Food, is the only thing on my mind, well besides the pain in my arm. He must have food..... I vaguely hear the cannon fire but it seems close so I hurry forward and start searching him. Bread, clean water, herbs, etc. I sigh and lay on the ground next to him, closing my eyes and ignoring the pain in my arm as best i can. Finally, food, good, real food.
(Cody from district 5 is dead)
