Haruhi blinked a few times at his statement but looked at him with a small smile. "Well, you did a really good job. I honestly wouldn't have taken you as one to cook."

Hikaru nodded and blushed deeply. "Thanks. That's sweet of you. Well, I can cook. I just don't do it often. I... I wanted to impress you."

"Well you defiantly succeed." The phrase 'A way to a mans heart is threw his stomach' applied to Haruhi way to much. She loved food, even expensive food. However being in the money situation she was in she couldn't exactly eat what she would like.
