The Doctor aimed his Sonic at Donna's head and and started sonicing. At the same time he was pushing his mental abilities into his screwdriver.
After a few minuites, he lowered the device and looked at her.
"I put up a block. Your memories are there and safe and you can access them, but the block will stop them from acting out and hurting you. Whenever your memories get too strong for you and try to burn you up, the energy will go into the block and make it stronger!" he explained with a grin on his face.
