Lestrade's eyes flashed in anger, his balled fists pressed against the ground. After a moment his concern for Roger came back to his face and he reached out to put his arms around her gently. "He'll never touch you." he promised her softly.

Roger leaned against him, shaking like a leaf. "I, I thought, I thought he was my friend." Roger said softly, tears falling from her eyes. "He, he used his knowledge of me to hurt me."
In the vast universe, the history of humanity is
but a flash of light from a lone star.
The life of a single person should be
lost in space and time.
But among the stars, there is
one light that burns brighter than all others.
The light of Samus Aran.
Her battles extend beyond her life,
and etch themselves into history.

"Uh. Donna..." he started, wondering if she knew he was a regeneration of the Doctor, "What happened?"

"How far...?" he didn't want to ask, but anger was still coursing through him like his blood was on fire. He didn't let his hands move, since he thought it would be inappropriate after... after that...
