He flinced at her scream. She was still in pain. Couldn't Liz do anything else? The girl didn't look much better then she had when they had arrived. Weren't her oh so might healing powers working? Shawn sent a short glare her way before turning his attention back to Grace, who was coming to the end of her scream. Hopefully she'd be okay before too long, though any hope of that would be based on Elizabeth, and right now neither were looking good. He wanted to say something, anything, to Grace, but his words seemed to have been stopped for the moment. Every time he opened his mouth to speak, nothing would come out. Stroking her hair instead, he realized that she'd locked eyes with him again. It was sort of creepy how she looked when she was staring into his eyes. Like she had the deepest, most confusing blue eyes ever. They captivated him, drew him farther in. What had happened to this girl to make her seem to have such deep eyes that could go on forever?
"Grace," Shawn stroked her cheek with his thumb. She was so pretty, so, so pretty. He didn't have a plan as to what might happen when she was healed and whole, and at the moment he didn't care. Just the thought of her being fully alive and well made him want to hug her tighter. "This pain? It'll pass. Every good thing must come to an end, as well as all of the bad. There can never be a time when the pain stays forever. If you live? It'll wear off like a wound. If you die, it'll stop. Either way you'll be pain-free."

She'd caught Shawn's glare the same time she felt Jake's arm slip around her back. That look she would know anywere. He didn't understand why Grace wasn't heal properly. By now any normal experiment would have been healed up good as knew. There must be something stopping her from healing the girl. Feeling her shoulders sag slightly, Liz firmly pressed both hands on her arm and waited for something to happen. She wasn't expecting a jolt to run up her arms and senting her reeling backwards. What was that? Liz studied her arms, glad to see marks on her skin. Something clicked inside her head. No marks on skin, yet pain anyway. Her powers. Her eyes went large, and a hand shot out to Shawn, the only one who was hurt out of the three of them. Besides Grace, she didn't count at the moment. Even though her finger tips barely came into contact with his forearm, she felt it. Ripples of pain spreading up her fingers and hands. Her powers were officially out until she slept. This wasn't good at all.
Shifting, she leaned against Jake to keep still. From experience, she knew that moving around only quicken the process of the pain coming upon her. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad, or perhaps it even would stay away till she was alone in her room. "We should try getting Grace to her room, someone can stay with her while I head back to my own room."
{ Mhmm, If anyone has any ideas for the Plot of escaping, feel free to express. ;3 }
