"I was just making sure you weren't thinking of it," Maethriel said and simply leaned against him and added "I worry about you sometimes I trust you but I cannot help but worry how good you will be with children as you haven't really been around elfling's too much. I do not like doubting you, but I cannot keep from having these thoughts" Maethriel said


Gil-Galad had been not too far behind Dis and seemed to run to put his spear in the large bear in an attempt to kill it. Dis was quite foolish for going off on her own like that she could have gotten killed.

He tilts his head, watching her, listening - he does not miss the tear. "You find humor, in me, yet you sorrow." Morag speaks quietly, yet his voice carries easilly. That laugh! It almost makes the strange man want to laugh, again; "Something troubles you,... would you like to talk about it? I have heard it said about me that I am a great listener, and I'll not divulge your secrets." then, after a moments' pause does he speak once more, "No pressure, just a.. friendly.. offer."

kiara galloped through the forest on her shiny black horse spirit with a flowing black mane and deep brown eyes. her scarlet hood was pulled over her long blonde hair and her intense cobalt eyes glowed with anticipation. she began to slow down, pulling gently on the short fur of her elegant stallion, and eventually she was at a trot, the sound of rustling leaves and the clippety-clop of horse hooves below her on the dirt path. kiara took in the breathtaking views of the forest, running her gloved hand through spirit's soft, fluffy mane.

merit avoided eye contact with the girl, her vanilla blonde hair blowing gently in the breeze. she slid her finger across her bow and sighed, glancing over at thranduil below her. i stay well hidden, she mumbled to nobody in particular, they don't see me unless i attract attention. she then looked up at the female who had approached her.

"I don't need nor do I want your help elf," she almost spat at him. She rolled the dead bear's body off of herself. She got up and brushed her tunic off. She sheathed her sword and began to walk again. Shaking her head she added "Just go away."

"I would never leave you, no matter what your mind may tell you. I realize I haven't been around elflings often, but I believe I can handle it, and if the time comes I cannot handle, I will go on a walk, then come back to my family." he said.

"If I left you alone then I would be blamed for your death by your family, Do not think that all elves are the same some of us are not as horrible as you think us to be but I will not be blamed for your death by Thorin so like it or not I am not going anywhere. Do you really think running away from all this is a good idea, Leaving isn't the answer nor is getting yourself killed, Spitting in my face won't change a thing you know that it won't keep our children from marrying each other and you also know that more you push him to not marry my daughter the more likely they are going to be to run away together and marry. Do you really want to lose your son over the fact that you disapprove of who he wants to marry or would you rather not lose him over this. You are going to drive him away from you and in doing so you are also driving my daughter away from me. You aren't the only affected by your actions you know." Gil-Galad said and followed after her


"You might need go for a lot of walks I have been told children tend to be quite noisy in the middle of night, some sleep soundly through night while others don't though if they are anything like me they will likely be well behaved" Maethriel said

Those strange eyes twinkle, but then again, he was always seeming to laugh somehow. "I see." is replied in a melodious voice; Morag smiles again, looking at the sky a moment, wondering about the time difference. "So, umm, the ... the sand-elves.. what do you figure they're like? As upity as the woodland folk? I prefer to avoid the elves, unless it is a holiday, in favor of dwarves - they are rather.... fun.. to dine with. The hobbits offer hospitality, its comforting, but it is th- er, we humans that I prefer to.... hang... around." he tells the other, not looking at her.

"Fine then! I don't care if they get married! It wont affect me! It will only affect my son and his future and the future of Erebor. It will only cause him to be hated by all the dwarves in this earth, but hey! Why would I care about my son and his wife's future?" she growled at him, "Also, all elves are the same to me."

"Gosh this is going to be hard... what did I do?" he sighed, bringing his hands to his face.

"I truly do not know. I expect they would be a mixture between the Snow Elves and the Woodland Elves, but I really don't know. I prefer the company of my stallion, so I do not know how the company of many of the other races." Hulden said. However, she was enjoying the company of this man.

"Fine then you are on your own do what you want. Go ahead act as if your more then capable of knowing what everyone else thinks while reject compliments from everyone except those of your own race! Why don't you just go and stop your son's wedding it's not like I approve of my daughter marrying him and I'd be much happier if she was marrying someone else!" He said and simply turned around to head back to the camp if she was going to be that stubborn then he was not going to continue to protect someone who didn't want help or insisted they didn't need it. His efforts were better spent on protecting the group rather chasing after a single dwarf who could obviously take care of herself as she claimed.

Silence, for a while, is all that he offers in responce, then, at last, "I suppose not everyone is the same, but we arn't all that different." a frown tugs at his lips a brief moment and then the man wears a nutral expression. "Horses do not often talk back." is agreed. "And perhaps it is because customs are foreign to us, that makes such things uncomfortable." Then, he looks suddenly about, "We are almost there, perhaps... you wish for a slight break? We can catch up with the others, if your stallion is up for a run." he raises one eyebrow and tugs the hood of his cloak up, onto his head, over his ears, hidding his gaze from all but the most careful looks.

"Gil-Galad," she called, sighing. She was actually enjoying the company of the elf, but she wasn't going to say that aloud. "Wait!" she cried.

"I would very much enjoy a rest," she said, smiling, then added, "I am sure Esaw would love at little run!" She quickly dismounted her stallion, took the reins, and tied him up to a nearby tree. She sat down beside her horse, leaning up against the tree he was tied to.
