Victoria barely noticed Dru and Takeshi talking amongst themselves. Something about... deer? And headlights? She forced back a laugh as she replied to her sister. "I wouldn't blame it on your laziness, Venus. Everyone had trouble out there today. Look..." She turned around to show her sister her back.

Taru groaned in pain, holding her side as she cried. "It hurts so much." She choked, and dug her nails into her shoulder to try and drag herself away from her aching back, but it was only hurting her more.
"Just let me-choke... Just let me die.." She muttered in a hoarse whispe.

(OMG guys! I do swim team, and on my 50m Freestyle (13-14 girls heat), I got 35.20 seconds!! XD *does a little happy jig*)

"No, Taru... You know I can't do that... I..." He tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. "I have to try." He took the jacket of ice off of her wound, and it was litterally dripping blood. She was loosing blood at an incredible rate. He grabbed a large wad of paper towel and pressed it the cut hard.

Taru cried out in pain, moaning lightly. "Please... stop... It'll be okay now... I think I'll be alright." She whimpered, desperately trying to get him to stop. He had to face it. She was dying.

"No.... I can't Taru! I... I won't be able to live without you.... You can't die." He stammered, tears slipping from his eyes. "Please.... don't die on me.... don't die.... It's all my fault."

Taru's eyes were already filled with bubbling tears, and she whispered, "I love you." She fell silent, only minutes left in this world, when a voice came from beside the open window, and there he was, Shinjo, Taru's other, stronger brother. "I can turn her into a demon, if you want." He told Garrett, and smiled deviously, almost a different person. "But there's a price.." He hissed, almost like a snake.

Garrett shook her, "Please... Taru...!" He yelled. He spun around quickly, hearing a voice. He recognized Shinjo him from earlier that day. "I'm willing to do anything." He told him, taking a step closer. "Just please... Save Taru."
