Mirabelle's arms crossed over her chest served both as a standoffish appearance as well as an act of self-soothing. "Maybe don't scare the crap out of new campers on the first day, Jewel?" she remarked, attempting to sound snarky. It was rather difficult seeing as her voice was at least an octave higher than she'd have liked.
Her heart nearly stopped in her chest when she realised she'd slipped up. Oh gods, Mirabelle, seriously! she internally scolded herself. Using a nickname like that in front of someone... She was just glad that Aggy was new. Any of the more experienced campers probably would've known something was up. Besides, the amount of tension between the two older girls was nearly tangible. Mirabelle was glad that she was the only daughter of Aphrodite in the room. Hopefully, she realised, remembering that Aggy had not yet been claimed. She secretly hoped the younger girl had no emotion-sensing capabilities... or that she was remarkably unperceptive.

Juliet mock-pouted, but refrained from commenting as she turned her attention to Aggy. "Hey now, I was just being friendly!" she grinned, throwing up her hands in an innocent gesture. In actuality, it had been her intent to poke a little fun - and the result amused her to no end. Man, I love it when they get all cranky! she relished. "Nice to meetcha, Aggs," she replied, intentionally messing up the new girl's name. "I'm Juliet - or, if you ask Mira, apparently, Jewel." Her eyes sparkled with mischief as Mirabelle's face grew beet-red. She instantly regretted it, however, when she caught the betrayed look in Mira's blue-grey eyes. A little too close, she quickly realised. She shot Mira a silent apologetic look, but kept the remainder of her attention on Aggy. "Feisty one, aren'tcha?" she quipped. "Mira, you should really see about getting this kid to the arena. Looks like she's got a lot of pent-up rage." Juliet grinned, hoping to elicit another angry response from the younger girl.

"Uh, yeah," Chuck started, shuffling his hooves. "Like, the camp schedule and stuff changes every day! Other than like, meals and cabin inspection." He scratched his neck nervously. "And ancient Greek lessons. Like, the Athena cabin usually teaches those, but like, sometimes Head Counselors or older campers'll do it." He tugged on his goatee as he thought further on the camp schedule. "There are like... different activities each day, but you always get free time before dinner, and then, like, after nighttime stuff, a singalong led by the Apollo cabin." He hoped he was doing a better job at explaining than he had the year previous. The amount of confused demigods wandering around had been almost hazardous.
