I'll try to get more active now that I have some time on my hands. Also, if you want, you could maybe invite a few more people to join.
Roseness, you're accepted of course! :D I'll reserve a spot in the Terlamaine group right away.
Again, I'm sorry that I left for so long.)

The whole house had gotten eerily quiet after mom had left. It was kind of creepy to me, because it never was this quiet. I mean, there wasn't a single sound. Even the washing machine wasn't on. The sound of the movie was the only thing that filled the house with noise, and it felt wrong inside for me to be playing the movie. I don't know why, but it did. I also didn't like the fact that I felt like someone was watching me. I had checked around me a few times and looked out the windows, but no one was there. Nervously, I started to hum a little tune and focused on the TV, trying to get rid of the fact that I was alone in a super quiet house, with someone possibly watching me.
I was starting to feel a little bit better when there was a clatter in the kitchen. It was the sound of metal against metal, each side scraping against each other. I stifled a scream and curled up into a ball, feigning tears. This was really scary. After a few minutes of staying there in a protective form, I looked up. Everything was quiet. The movie was still playing. I was freaked out. Standing up tentatively, I walked over slowly to the kitchen. It's okay. Nothing really. It's just the dishes in the sink. Yeah. The dishes in the sink. The dishes in the sink just shifted because the silverware supporting the pots shifted. That's all. Just the dishes. I tried to reassure myself that it was nothing, but when I got over there, I wished that my mom would come home. There were no dishes in the sink. Nothing was amiss. Everything was fine. Suddenly, I noticed that the window was open. That's funny. It was closed before. Why would a window be open on an icky day like this? I wondered.
Reaching to close it, I stiffened. This was all too creepy. I hated this. I wished that my mom would come home soon. Turning around from closing the window, I walked back to the TV, only to find that the TV screen was black. A power outage? No. I would have heard the beep as all of the electrical devices failed. I hadn't turned it off either. As I stared at the screen in puzzlement, there was a huge slamming noise from downstairs. I couldn't take it anymore. Screaming, I ran into my room, shut and locked the door, and spent the next 30 minutes crying into my pillow.

I frowned and turned over to the girl. This was a weird day, but it was getting even weirder. She thought I wasn't human? What does she mean by that? Does she mean that I'm like Batman or something and I can fly? That'd be cool, but even so, Batman was human. I voiced my thoughts in a confused voice. "You thought I wasn't human?" I questioned. "How would I not be a human?"

(Sorry for Sam's short post. There isn't too much I can write for him right now.)

I listened as the girl told me that she needed us to answer a few questions. I bit back my response "We don't do surveys." I can sometimes be very insultingly sarcastic, or just good at making comebacks, but I save my insults for my enemies. And besides. Right now was the time to act motherly, since there were a few new people here. Motherly? Yes. I can act motherly and extremely protective to the point that I kind of go berserk. But you just see me when I'm fighting. There's no hint of loving there. I nodded. "Sure. Seeing as everyone else is coming in, you're welcome too." I couldn't help but say how everyone else was here. It seemed like it was suddenly a point where all the Terlamaines had decided to pop up. It was actually overwhelming for me. I really wanted to go take a walk, but I knew that I needed to be here for the moment. I opened the door a little wider and stepped aside to let the girl in.
