He is good friends with Gray Fullbuster because of his personality in general and he tends to piss off Natsu. Mostly, because of his Magic. He is also good with Juvia and Lucy's Celestial Spirit- Aquarius

History:
He lived with his mother for a time, and she tought him Time's Arc (His mother is not Ultear). Later, she passed away. He didn't know his mother's magic very well so he seeked another person to teach him. He met Lymphin, a Wizard who was an expert in Lost Magic, as he was an old librarian so he gave lots of books to Alex and tought him Time's Arc
