i laughed at sam and smiled before he could walk away "im Skylar" i smiled.

i glared at sam but knew if he took Skylar from me i could not do anything so i shrugged and walked away

She had watched what happened with the two guys. They shouldn't do things like that in the open, she thought to herself. She did a sharp whistle and waited for her bird to show up. It wasn't long before he was I front of her. She gently picked him up and stood up.

Claire turned to Ethan "I'll be right back" She said, walking towards Ryan "Hey, I'm Claire, don't we have a class together?" She said smoothly, innocently enough, and curious.

Ethan watched as his cousin, his best friend, walked towards the vampire boy. He watched from afar, warily, but with a cool attitude.

"Strange how she leaves you for someone that quickly." Kaolin said in her smooth tone of voice as she appeared beside Ethan.

"I noticed." Sam sighed. He didn't show his fangs. Actually, his eyes didn't turn red like most vampires. Just couldn't. He shifted his feet and put his hands in his pockets.

"She's my cousin, I know her like I know the back of my hand" Ethan had said defensively. The girl's voice put him on edge. He couldn't tell what it was at the moment, but he didn't like it.

Claire smiled "So, you're a vampire, huh?" She asked. She always liked the immortals, they always had a certain zing that no normal human had, and unluckily for herself, she seemed to be the only human around. At least she had Ethan though, now that he was going here, there would be 2 mortals!

((Ethan's actually immortal and has 'runes' and spells, along with awesome weapons, but Claire don't need to know that ;D ))

"Pardon me then. I have appeared to intruded on you and made quick judgements." Kaolin responded, her white eyes focused ahead of her. She let a small smile tug on her lips as she listened to his defensive reaction. It was quite amusing.
