“Give you this, Give you that.
Blow a kiss, take it back.
If I look inside your brain..
I would find lots of things,
clothes, shoes, diamond rings;
Stuff that's driving me insane!
You could be pre-occupied,
different date every night.
You just gotta say the word.
But you're not into them at all,
you just want material.
I should know, because I've heard..
When girls say..”
“I want, I want, I want.
But that's crazy!
I want, I want, I want.
But that's not me!
I want, I want, I want..
to be loved by you.
You've got everything you need,
but you want accessories,
got to hold it in your hand.
I could give the world to you,
I bet you wouldn't have a clue.
Don't you know that I can't stand!
When girls say..”
Are you at school yet? Blue scowled down at her phone as it vibrated in her hand, the screen illuminating her face. She looked away from the tiny font on her phone for a minute, as she saw a familiar old charger pulling into the parking lot, and her scowl was replaced with a small smile. It was a bit of a miracle as to how Blue's whole attitude and outlook on things could be changed just by seeing Landon's car. Flicking her gaze back down to Pyro's text message, she rolled her eyes, stuffing the cell-phone back inside her shoulder-bag, not bothering to reply to it. Of course she was at school, where else would she have gone? Well, there were those few times her and Landon had decided to skip.. Shaking her head in memory, Blue walked back around to the direver's side of her Impala, reaching in to lock the door - just out of habit. There was really no reason to lock her car - as there was really no threat of criminals in Paradise Falls. And besides, hi-jacking a 1967 model car would be a bit suspicious to any by-standards. But, it was in the tradition of routine's sake that Blue locked the doors anyway, walking back around to the front of her car, seeing Landon walk up.
"Better late than never right?" Blue turned to face the boy who had appeared at her side - none other than Landon Scott. As he pulled her close to him in his arms, she stood higher up, on her toes, so she could peck his lips, before standing back down at her normal height. When Blue first moved to Paradise Falls, she never thought that she would end up like this. With a guy as perfect as this - let alone, feeling as happy as she did with him. Sure, she had had other boyfriends and flings before this, but most of them hadn't lasted any longer than a couple of weeks, before they had managed to do something to tick her off. I guess you could say that Miss Ross was a bit of a low-tempered person, at least when it came to people. But then she had moved to Paradise Falls about half a year ago. She was the new girl - nervous, even though she would never admit it - without any friends, at first. Well, the first guy she had met was Lucas Grey. She had been eating alone at the end of the table, when some idiot boy had walked by, tripping over the edge of the table. Of course, Blue was infuriated, and probably would have hit the boy, had he not busted out laughing. Yes, laughing. Normally, if someone laughed at her, Blue would end up giving that lucky soul a black eye, or a busted lip. But she looked down at herself, covered in small pieces of food - and, believe it or not, she laughed too. Now, don't get me wrong, this doesn't make her a softie in the least. If it had been some snooty barbie-doll character who had made the mistake of spilling something on her, she would most likely have been kicked out of the school by the next day. But, for some reason - whether it was that she was just in a forgiving mood, or she was worried about what Pyro would say to her if she got into another fight - she laughed too, not even bothering to pick the food off of her clothes. And that laughter lead to Lucas sitting with her, and, eventually, to the two of them becomeing best friends. And they had remained that way throughout the rest of her stay at Paradise Falls, despite Blue's anti-social attitude. People all the time questioned Lucas about why - out of all of the other people in the town - he had to choose her. But, Blue knew that Lucas probably didn't even know the answer to that himself.
Shaking her head, pulling herself from memory, she looked over at the guy beside her; the most important man in her life - just don't tell Pyro she put it that way. After pecking his lips, she stood in a bit of silence beside him; she had parted her jaws to answer his question about what her plans were later that night, when she saw her cousin's mustang pull into the parking lot. She knew without a word that he was frustrated with her for not answering his text message, but she honestly could care less. I mean, come on, he wasn't her father. Blue doubted he would ever stop treating her like a helpless kid. She watched him as he stepped out of the car, his eyes locked onto her before he had even shut the door. She automatically turned her gaze back to Landon, to show Pyro that he needn't interrupt their conversation. "Do you have any plans for tonight?" A soft smile splayed itself on Blue's lips as he spoke again, and she quirked her left eyebrow - an expression commonly seen on her face. "Not yet, why?" She asked, glancing at Pyro again.
Leaning against the door of his mustang, Pyro's eyes were locked on the two of them. See, normally, Pyro was the fun-loving, easy-going guy in Paradise Falls, the one who was so easy to get along with. But, of course, everyone has that little quirk. His, was Blue. And she knew that. As her cousin stared at her, he glanced down at his pocket, sliding his blackberry from his jeans, and gave it a little shake in the air, furrowing his brow at her. Blue just gave him her most innocent smile, and shrugged, as if she hadn't realized he had sent her a message. Pyro scowled, shooting her his "we'll talk about this later" look, locked his car, then began to head towards the school. Blue just rolled her eyes, turning her gaze back to Landon, and wondering what he had planned for later that day. Since the two of them had met, it seemed like every moment she could, Blue would spend her time with Landon. Now, don't get me wrong, she wasn't one of those obsessive-type girlfriends who always wanted to know what their boyfriends were up to, although she did enjoy spending time with him. It wasn't very often that someone could make Blue smile with just their presence, or even just the thought of them. But, Landon was the one person who gave her that kind of happiness, and she wanted to enjoy it as much as she could.
Although, being out on the town had really lost its lustrious pull for Blue after those girls were killed. She wasn't one to ever admit she was afraid of something, but she was a little frightened of being in town after dark, now - especially, alone. With Landon, sure, she would be happy to go anywhere with him. But, if, for some reason, she needed to go somewhere by herself - even in broad daylight - she was scared. That simple thought made her angry with herself, made her feel weak for being so spineless. But three girls had been murdered. Killed in cold blood. Who wouldn't be a bit afraid? She shook away her thoughts, as she glanced around the parking lot, seeing that her and Landon were one of the few people still left standing around. She nibbled on the inside of her lip, not really wanting to go to class - hell, who actually enjoyed school? - but knew she had to, because of her history final. She stood back up on the tips of her toes again, kissing his lips lightly again, a bit longer than before. "I really gotta get to homeroom." She said, a bit regretfully, taking a step back, tightening the grip she had on her handbag. She took a few steps towards the building, before looking back over her shoulder with a small smile. "But I'm up for whatever you want to do later." She told him, before turning back around, a grin still plastered onto her lips. It stayed there, in its place, until she walked through the doors of the school building. She saw the edge of Pyro's jacket disappearing into his own homeroom, so she knew that she was safe from his brutal scolding - at least for the time being. She hurried to her locker, grabbing the books she needed for her first two classes, then scurried off to her homeroom class. She actually wasn't late, which was a miracle. She sat through the usual routine, then headed off to her classes.
First period went by pain-stakingly slow, as it did every day. She had Calculus first, which made her wonder what kind of idiot had put together the schedule. Calculus? First thing in the morning? Who the hell decided that? So, she sat in the back of the classroom, grateful to at least have this class with Lucas. They talked a bit through the period, ending up getting scolded by the teacher. Of course, she was given a ton of homework, as was usual for calculus, but she just stuffed it into her bag. She might do it - she might not. She had never really been one of those people who were obsessed with grades. As long as she passed, it was fine for her.
Then, second period of course, was history. She was told that her big final would be moved to a different date, as her teacher, Mr. Worth, had decided to force the class into watching a documentary. And, of course, as neither Landon, nor Lucas were in that class with Blue, she ended up falling asleep, only to be woken up by the ringing of the bell. Thankfully, the teacher had been too engrossed in his documentary, and his other duties as a teacher, to notice that she hadn't paid attention, and she could only hope that there wasn't going to be a test over it. She left the class without a word, ready for the day to be over before it had even really began.
Next, she had chemistry. Just the same as math, Blue could never get the hang of chemistry. Actually, she never really got the hang of any class. Blue was a bright girl, and could accomplish an A plus in every single class if she put her mind to it. But, she didn't apply herself. Her father's death had ended up leaving a lot of money behind - and I mean alot - so, the cost of college wasn't that big of a problem. Who needed scholarships? So, she suffered her way through her classes each day, the thought of spending an afternoon with Landon being the only thing to keep her going.
Eventually, the day ended. Thank god. The last bell rang, and Blue was one of the first few to have gathered her books, and head out of the classroom. She went to her locker, tossing her un-needed books in the locker, only keeping the things she needed to do her Calculus homework, although she doubted she would get around to it since her and her boyfriend most likely had plans. She shut the door to her locker, and headed out of the building, hoping to escape the scolding words of her older cousin. She walked swiftly out to her car, knowing that she would still have to wait for Landon to head out. All she could do was hope that Pyro had moved on from their little incident this morning, or hope that he would wait until later to "lay down the law." She rolled her eyes with a smirk at the thought, looking through the crowd for Landon, wondering what exactly it was he had planned for the night. Of course, the activity didn't really matter to Blue - as she knew that if she was with him, she would be happy with whatever it happened to be.

“Circles,
We're going in circles.
Dizzy's all it makes us.
We know where it takes us;
we've been before.
Closer,
Maybe lookin' closer,
there's more to discover.
Find out what went wrong,
without blaming each other.
Think that we got more time.
When we're falling behind.
Gotta make up our minds.”
“Wake up,
we both need to wake up.
Maybe if we face up,
to this,
we can make it through this.
Closer,
maybe we'll be closer.
Stronger than we were,
before, yeah.
Make this soemthing more, yeah.
Think that we got more time.
When we're falling behind.
Gotta make up our minds.”
Pyro sped down the road, going way over the speed limit, although he didn't care. Right now, he'd like to see a cop try to pull him over right now; he'd get his head bitten off. He slid his phone out of his pocket, letting the screen illuminate his face, finding the same thing he usually saw. No new messages. He growled under his breath, tossing the phone into the backseat of his car, knowing that he was probably over-reacting. Every morning, he sent Blue a message to make sure she had made it to school alright, and every morning she sent him the same begrudging reply that she was fine, and he didn't have to keep bugging her. But, of course, this morning, she had neglected to do so. So, Pyro had tumbled out of bed, thrown his clothes on - without bothering to take a shower, I might add - and ran from the house, speeding towards the school. Pyro was always late for classes. Every single day. The Elders usually chastised him for doing so - as did his teachers - but he never payed any mind. When he had first been turned, he had made a large effort to keep a grip on his grades, and still do good in school. But by now, he had forgotten all about that. What, with the incidents with the Rabid, he had too much to worry about at the moment. He had his little cousin to worry about. Pyro had yet to speak to Landon about their relationship, but he knew that he would eventually have to - before Blue got hurt because of it. He guessed that Landon was a bit scared of him, as he was protective over Blue just like an older brother would be, and he would soon give him a reason to be.
He flicked the bangs out of his eyes as he drove, eager to reach the school, and make sure that she was alright. After a few more moments of speedy driving, Pyro pulled up in the parking lot, letting out a long huff of exasperated breath as he saw the back of her Impala, and two heads - one Blue's, one Landon's - poking up from around the other side. As Blue turned her head to look at him, Pyro locked his gaze, only letting it fall when he had reached his usual parking spot. He pulled his car in the rectangle, leaning out his window to make sure he had parked inside the lines. He reached around to the backseat, grabbing his Blackberry, and stuffing it back in his pocket, before getting out of the car, and locking the doors. He stood outside of the mustang, waiting - just waiting - for Blue to meet his gaze. Which, of course, she eventually did. He furrowed his brow, shaking his phone meaningfully in the air at her, his hair falling into his face a bit. He cursed under his breath at her stupid innocent smile, being able to see right through it. He just gave her "The Look", before grabbing his bag, and heading towards the building. He was a bit early, so he took his time at his locker, pausing to check his reflection in the mirror he had hanging from the inside of it.
He was obsessed with himself. Other than Blue, the single-most important person in Pyro's life was Pyro. He loved his looks, his personality - he was probably the cockiest person in the entire town of Paradise Falls. But, the worst thing was, he wasn't ashamed of it. If anyone disagreed with him, he just dismissed it as jealousy, and went on his way. And, of course, if they persisted, he could always plaster on his tough guy act. Unless his cousin was in danger, or in harm's way, Pyro was a big softie. Which didn't at all fit his looks. He was probably 6'4 already, and not done growing. So, yea, a lot of people were scared of him, knowing that his height gave him a big advantage. But, if they ever really got to know Pyro, they would find him to be nothing more than a teddy bear in a grizzly costume.
After homeroom, Pyro headed to his first class, which was chemistry. Being a bit of a nerd, himself, he did pretty well in the class, averaging somewhere around a B plus in the subject. So, he didn't mind the class, and it always seemed to fly by a bit too quickly. As did Calculus, his second subject. He excelled in that class, even though the crunch of sharpening pencils filled his ears, along with the all-too-annoying click of pens. Pyro had yet to get used to his enhanced senses of sight, smell, and sound. He could hear the teacher lecturing his class in the room next-door; he could smell the horrible cafeteria food, that the lunch ladies tried to pass off as a quality meal; if he looked out the window, he could see the exact numbers and letters on the license plate of Blue's Impala, which was all the way across the lot. Of course, it had it's advantages. He could see, hear, and smell anything he needed too, being capable of so much more of the average human. He thought of his abilities as more of a blessing than a curse, as some others viewed them.
These thoughts are what carried him all the way through history, his least favorite subject. As he had a different teacher than Blue and Hanna, he had his finals, which he was distracted from by his thoughts. He ended up having to stay after class for about ten minutes to finish them, actually, which drove him crazy, as he really needed to sit down and have a little talk with his cousin, as well as speak to her boyfriend. Did Landon not realize how much danger he was putting Blue in by dating her? Every wolf knew of the Rabid, including Landon - so why didn't he take more precautions to keep the young girl safe. Pyro knew that he would, if he had a girlfriend at the time. But, of course, he wasn't dumb enough to be dating anyone with the current situation.
After finishing his stupid history final, Pyro headed out of the school, not even bothering to look for Blue or Landon, as he guessed that they were long gone, ready to do whatever it was that Landon had planned. Yes, he had heard that conversation. Pyro had eavesdropped - although, Blue would never know that. Landon probably guessed that he had been listening in, though, by the look on his face. Pyro did this often: shot looks in Landon's direction. Some of it was genuine, as he didn't want the boy putting his cousin in harm's way. But, of course, most of it was just for the fun of torturing the lad. It was absolutely hilarious to see that Landon was afraid of him, when almost everyont knew good and well that he wouldn't hurt a hair on anyone's head. The boy headed over to his car, with a grin on his face because of his thoughts, and leaned against the hood, not really sure of what to do with his day. He realized he had absolutely no plans to carry out, as well as no homework. He just shrugged, pulling out his phone.
[[ Ugh, sorry. Wasn't really sure what to do with Pyro at the end. Bad post. =/
