So sorry, there were sevreal severe thunderstorms, and my internet was wonked for a few days. Its finally back, and I shall write up something quick for you to begiun as I get around to your powers.

Every single student was gathered in one large room, more commonly known as the auditorium, where the theatre troupe often put on its plays. But no stage-loving student stood up there, but merely a row of adults. The one in the very center stood in front of the row, behind a podium. She cleared her throat, the sound echoing through speakers thanks to a microphone, and the entire crowd silenced itself, although it might have simply been because of the chilling look she gave it.

“Welcome to another year at Crescent Academy. I am your Principal, Madame Finn” She began her French accent quite faint, but her voice as cold as a popsickle. She paused a moment for the claps before going into the speech that was given every year. It covered all the basics, like a few of the more important rules, things regarding dorms, classes, other lessons and all the other basic school of powered-children things.

As she finished off, she instructed the students that they may know do as they pleased, although the cafeteria’s lunch period would end in an hour. So the students milled about, some off for a bite to eat, others to prepare their shared rooms, and some merely wandering off with a group of their friends.

She could tell this principle-lady was going to be a stickler, the way she looked over the crowd and silenced them all. Of course, it had taken most of Rumor's willpower to be quiet, considering the buzzing excitement and nervousness filling the room. She had gone way to the back, where the teaches wouldn't see her hopping up and down. When the students were dismissed, she had gladly raced off toward her dorm. She had decorating to do, and lots of it, seeing as the top level of the dorm was filled with walls just waiting to be plastered with things. She wove her way through the milling people toward her dorm, humming under her breath. She was glad she had been able to bring her cat, Frost, with her. That little kitty was her best friend, seeing as she didn't have very many friends at the moment. It was unfortunate, and made her frown as she rounded one of the corners fast.
