Chris decided on cute. He picked up the little kitten, nuzzling one of it's cheek bones with the back of two fingers. He heard it purr in a boney way, as if bones were rattling. He smiled, holding the kitten's face toward Shadow. "Can I keep it?" He asked, pleading with those purple colored eyes.

Lyra sat on one of the benches of the forge silently with her legs crossed and her permanent grin on her face as she twisted wires into place, feeling the energy beginning to rise in them.

Charlie rubbed her hands together with a grin, "Sounds great! Fire and Death! I guess that will involve lots of water and lots of lights and loud noises! Good idea Livvy, I was thinking of going for the Hecate cabin but it wasn't that good a plan. Thanks." Charlie grinned and rubbed her chin. "Maybe the naiads will help me with the water since they don't like the loud noises of the hammers. And as for the light, maybe the Apollo cabin would be generous to lend a hand. And loud noises, I don't need much help for that. Want to tag along? It'll be great fun."

Could this be my little sister? Could I finally have a sibling? Hopefully she's claimed soon... Jareb cleared his throat and smiled at her again.

Shadow raised an eyebrow but smile creeped onto his face, "Go ahead. I don't control that one. He's just a random one that shows up, he's yours my friend, give it a name and he'll probably come when you call him...her? I don't think these bone kittens have a gender preference so whatever."

Chris smiled, placing the kitten on his head like a hat. He thought for a moment. "Uva." He decided, nuzzling the kitten's cheek. Uva climbed down onto Chris's shoulder. "It means grape, in Latin I think." He explained. "Um, is it possible to make it alive, with fur and etcetera?" He asked Shadow curiously as Uva's little bony feet dug into his shoulder. It didn't hurt much, just made him much more aware of it's.. Her, Chris decided it's gender from the way it acted, presence there.

Raine wandered through the trees, noting how the naaeds and other nature spirits avoided her. Not that was supspring; they had done so since she arrived at camp a few years ago, as did the pegasi and animals in general. It was really just expected at this point.
Leaning on Zeus' Fist, Raine watched the area around her and listened to the stream gurgling past.

Liv laughed at Charlie's eagerness; no one in camp could quite match her enthusiasm for surprises. Liv's eyes widened when Charlie invited her along however, and she protested, "No thank you! I'd rather not have fires and death chasing me all summer, you know neither lets things rest." A smile lit her face. "Besides, holding grudges is a fatal flaw for Hades kids - do you want to invoke that? And Greek fire is never fun when it hits you!"
Charlotte was a risk taker after all though, Livvy would be surprised if she didn't still go ahead with her prank.

Ray tilts her head to the side faintly, stormy grey eyes rather calculating. She knew that expression. It was similar to the one she used to ware when she first came to camp. At his question though, she smiles faintly. "Fine really. Just growing bored of everyday camp life. What about yourself?" She replies back. Well that much was true. She couldnt wait for a quest to start, and hoped she got picked to lead it. She hasnt left the camp since she got there a good 10ish years ago.

"Bored? Here? Noooooooooo." Silas remarked sarcastically, flashing a grin to show that he was joking. "Man, I know how you feel. I'd kill for a quest right now. Err," he paused, rubbing the back of his neck. "Not, literally kill. Probably." Sucking in a breath of air, he spoke again. "I've been doing alright."

Once at the dining pavilion, Miles spotted an apple, seemingly fresh, and picked it up, biting into it. It was always nice, he reflected, chewing then swallowing, on how the pavilion always seemed to know what a person needed for food.

Shadow shot Chris and Uva a sideways glance and the son of Hades put his fingertips together, bowed his head and closed his head. Seconds later, fur started to sprout out of the boney cats sides, face, tail and legs. Once the fur had grown, soft but strong muscle rippled beneath her new, soft, glossy coat. When Shadow opneed his eyes they were completely white for a second but his iris quickly turned back to obsidan black. Shadow leaned against the edge of the border infront of the front row of seats to hide his exhaustion and spoke, "There. Alive. Still immortal but alive."

Chris laughed with pure joy and hugged his kitten.The kitten's purr was a real purr now, instead of a rattling of bones. Chris then put Uva on his shoulder and hugged Shadow. "THANK YOU!" He let go and hugged Uva some more.
