James cleared his throat and shoved his hands in his pockets, "You saved his life you know ..." he rocked back and forth on his heels and then hugged John quickly, "thank you for that." He quickly retreated from the hug trying not to make John feel to uncomfortable and headed inside.

Cassidy walked up to the door and turned the knob, it was unlocked. She looked back at the girl and shrugged her shoulders, "Well, looks like an open invatation to me." She walked inside gripping her board by the wheels, their were clothes tossed everywhere books all over the place, papers and toys where scattered all over the floor.

Lorena scooted back against the wall again and leaned her head back closing her eyes. "It's a miracle..." She laughed slightly and looked back at Gregory. "I don't know how you're alive right now...but I'm glad you didn't give up on us..." She smiled at him and tried not to look at his missing arm.

Gregory groaned, "yeah... someone up there must want me alive ..." he strugled to sit up, his mouth was dry and his head was pounding. "Can I get some water?"

"I'll grab you a glass, do you want some pain meds too?" I ask as I walk to the kitchen. Stoppping at the door, I turn and wait for his reply.

Gregory winced in pain as he sat up, "ugh, please that would be great." He took a deep breath in and rested his head against the wall and breathed out slowly.

With a hurried nod I quicken my pace and grab him a glass of water. Upon my return to the living room, I hand his good arm the glass while I rummage around in the first aid kit for the pain killers.

Gregory grabbed the glass and paused a moment before taking a drink, "Thank you ..."

John's eyes widened slightly as James hugged him. He looked down at the boy and watched him walk inside before he slowly turned his attention back to the fence and sighed softly.

Sonia kept a tight grip on her bat as she followed after Cassidy. She swallowed hard and tried to control her breathing as she walked as quietly as possible, her eyes darting all over the room.

James went inside, he saw Greg sitting up and sat down next to him. "Hey, are you ok?" He pulled the letter out of his pocket and looked at Greg, "Is this... um what I think?"

Gregory looked at the letter and sighed, "Yeah um..." his eyes got watery as he continued, "It's a... letter I wrote when all of this started ... I uh... I want you to read it if something happens to me." He folded James fingers over the letter.

Cassidy kicked some of the papers around and looked back at the girl, "So you got a name?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Sonia jumped as she heard the girl talk, the sudden noise alarming her. She let out a sigh of relief, her muscles relaxing as she whispered. "Uh... Yeah.. S-Sonia... You?"
