Buffy really had to be careful how she answered. “Well I like hanging with my friends, watching movies...” staying fit was mostly for dealing with any baddies, so she wouldn’t bring that up. “I don’t mind going for walks” she added.

"Liz was the one for movies, she would put on kid videos after Luke was born, he seems to still like them. He also likes when I read to him." Jess said actually smiling when he thought about his son.

Anya looked over to see that Buffy hadn't notice and grinned, imagining Buffy's reaction. She and Willow conversed then began setting up, to break the curse. Anya did the physical qualities and Willow did the spoken word. It would take a little while, because there was a lot to read through, you had to be dedicated to breaking the curse. Willow got on a flow and Anya looked at Kay. Now she pondered he would stay or leave once the curse was broken. She wouldn't blame him if he left.

Anya passed the time by restocking, while Willow continued the ritual. She decided that the whole thing never made sense. Why would she, of all people, want to help a weird orphaned kid turn into an adult, even though they had just met? Anya felt like she was being weird about it herself and put her mind on restocking. It looked like the ritual would only take a little while longer.

"So....Luke is taking a nap right now, but would you like to come over and watch a movie with me?" Jess asked Buffy curiously.

“Well I’d hate to wake Luke, but I don’t have any other plans. Is Luke your son’s name? It’s nice.” Buffy said.

"My Little brother" he told her before he closed his book then shoved it into his back pocket of his jeans after he stood. He then gestured for her to follow as he lead her to his house which was right next door to her own.
