Gaster was taken aback. He hadn't expected that.
"I'm sorry." He murmured again, hugging Underfell again before mentally reminding himself not to and pulling away again guiltily.

"That's the thing..." Gaster mumbled. He didn't want to put Underfell in a situation he wasn't happy about, but he needed someone to do the job.
"I have a favor I need to ask from you. I understand if you don't want to do it but I can't see any other option. I need you to take my Sans home." He motioned slightly with his hand, drawing Sans close to him before picking the short skeleton up again.
"He's not well. He needs to be inside in the warmth but uh... I've got business to attend to out here." Gaster mumbled, looking in the direction Cambria had disappeared to.

underfell stared at the body. with a flick of the hand, the other sans was surrounded in red magic. then it disappeared, along with sans. "okay. he's at the house now."

"Thank you." Gaster said, smiling sadly. "That was very kind of you. Thank you."

He turned in the general direction of where Cambria had run off, and sighed deeply, shivering a little as the cold bit harshly at his ribs. He hadn't realized how much body heat he'd been sharing with Sans, and now that his metaphorical warming water bottle was gone he felt exposed to the cold.
He almost regretted not grabbing his shirt back from Sans before Underfell transported him.

"I need to find someone. You coming?" He asked Underfell, praying the answer would be affirmative.

"no." Underfell muttered. "and don't even try pestering me to go, because i don't trust you. so go on."

For the hundredth time that day, Gaster felt horribly conflicted as to what to do. He wanted to find Cambria, but he didn't want to leave Underfell.

"Please? I could do with the help." He asked gently. "There's no use in you hanging around here in the cold."

Underfell shook his head. " no. ya see, i'm a skeleton, and i've got fire in my soul. i don't think i'll get cold. and i don't trust you. so i'll just stay here. no complaining."

[Relicarn]

Gaster sighed loudly, patience starting to wear thin.
"So you're just going to sit out here? All alone? Forever? Sounds like a great plan." Gaster muttered, beginning to stalk off in search of Cambria. He didn't want to leave Underfell behind, but at the moment Cambria was the most at risk, and therefore his priority.

"Cambria?" He called into the trees, searching for any sign of the skeleton.

Cambria hissed, deep under Gaster's feet. One of his few abilities were to become an oil snake. He'd leave a black slimy trail wherever he went, and he could burrow under the ground and kill people from below.

Gaster picked up on the quiet noise and froze, looking around in confusion.
"Cambria? Please, I'm sorry. That was... that was wrong of me."
