He was fully aware of Lulu's movements, and yet he wasn't. His mind was absorbing the whole 'Unknowm' situation until her lips brushed his cheek. Alec's mind and eyes shifted to her again, a very rosy blush settling in on his cheeks. Instead of being the one that was calm and relaxed, he was now the slow-minded, dim witted teen who felt sluggish. His thoughts were filled instantly with her, Lulu, and he couldn't help but let a shy smile pull at his mouth. "Uh . . . Really?" He ran his free arm through his mass of sticky, matted, blood coated, blond hair. "I - You- I- We- Uh," Alec solved the problem of speech the only way he knew how. Softly pulling her to him, he placed his index and middle finger under her chin tip her head towards him more. He leaned over her barely, and gently, barely brushed his lips across hers. It could almost be considered a kiss, or a romantic moment in his opinion, if a full blown, sharp, loud hiccup didn't escape from him when he was only inches from her. Face flaming again, Alec dropped his head in embarrassment and then quickly pecked her on the cheek. Pulling slowly away from her, his shy smile was again pulling at his lips and his eyes danced with glee and something else.
"Not very good at romantic stuff," He whispered under his breath to her, hand stilling its circles when he finally spoke again. All thoughts were on her still, how she smelled sweet with mild body oder from all their fights with Unknown and running through the woods. The way her auburn hair was a complete mess made him think she was even cuter, and her amazing blue eyes just made him want to kiss her again. Longer, better, more relaxed, in a romatic way. Alec's eyes trailed over her face, his free hand's finger tips gently brushing across her cheek bones. He let it glide over the curve of her nose and start to trace her lips. Desire burning inside of him, and yet he with held it.
Closing his eyes, he curled his finger back into a fist and lowered it. This was wrong, he should be on his way back to Unknown, not studying the sweet girl beside him. "I made a deal with him," Alec said aloud, though his eyes were looking past Lulu, to a tree over her shoulder. "I had to do him a favor for him to take me to you. Or- well, he wanted me to do a favor for him but he'd still tell me where you were, I think. . . But, I- I've got to finish that favor still. Can you sit here, or would you rather come along?" The words were slowly and painfully killing him as he spoke them. What if she wanted to come, and Unknown was already controlled again? Or what if she stayed and he got lost again? Or hurt? What if those wild dogs attacked her? His mind was racing with all the possibilites of what might happen if she were to stay behind. Unless he just didn't go, that was always an option. . .
